The more I think about this experience, the more I just want my money back. I'm normally one to let bygones be bygones and chalk it up to it being another life experience, but this store needs to be reviewed. Our son (in College 2000 miles away) was visiting for Christmas, so I took him and his brother to Branson for a shopping trip. Around 3.30 PM we decided to stop at this ice cream place. We ordered two "Crazy Shakes" and a large soda. The price of the 'shakes' was not posted anywhere as far as I could see, so I was surprised to be charged $12 (plus tax) for this horrible concoction. Please note that I put the word 'shakes' in parenthesis for a reason. I don't mind paying $12 for good food, but the operating word here is GOOD. This 'stuff' was just gross. It's possible to get a whole meal for this price a few doors down the road. The employee didn't seem to know what he was supposed to make, so after pouring milk (could have been white colored water for all I know....) from one blender jar into another a few times, a newly arrived coworker showed him how to sort of make the shake. This coworker had walked past me while we were waiting in line and smelled so strongly of smoke that I almost felt sick, making me wonder about the sanitary conditions at this place. We finally got the shakes and took them outside, but had to go back to ask for spoons and straws. NOT shake straws, but thin, flimsy soda straws that collapsed the second one tried to take sip. The so called 'shakes' were not only extremely lumpy and gross, but the rim of the cup/glass was supposed to have a coating of chocolate sprinkles on the outside (for whatever reason, since it was impossible to get to them, so it's just a waste of food), but the sprinkles were absolutely disgusting, as if they had been in the freezer for days. Tasteless and freezer-burned to the extreme. As regards the employees and customer service, none of them seemed happy to be there, which should have been another red flag for us. Finally, NONE of the items were rung up correctly, which makes me wonder if this is done on purpose, so dissatisfied customers can't claim a refund if their receipt doesn't show what they claim to have had. (Soda was rung up as 'hot chocolate' and the two cookie dough shakes were rung up as 'strawberry' and 's'mores' ). I have left a complaint on the company site and am awaiting their response. Pending this response I am seriously considering disputing the charge with my credit card company since we did not receive any of the items listed on the receipt. This was the first time we had ever been to a Marble Slab store and it was most definitely the very last time. EDIT: Seeing as another reviewer stated that the employee coughed into his hand, I just remembered that he did this as well when we were there. Thoroughly bad experience. UPDATE: Corporate Office contacted me to let me know that the franchisee will be in touch. A few days later the owner of this store emailed to apologize and offer $15 worth of ice-cream; all I had to do was to let him know when. I responded that I'd rather not eat there again, and to please work with me on a refund. Six days later I contacted him again to ask where we stand, as I had had no reply. It's now a month later (still no reply) and I disputed the charge with my credit card. We'll see what happens. Even if I had agreed to the free ice-cream, how was I supposed to get it if the owner will not respond to emails??? FINAL UPDATE: I disputed the charge with my credit card company and a...

February 26th at 2pm Emilyâs negligence resulted in a potentially life-threatening situation for me. I requested a Sâmores ice cream, but she prepared a rocky road ice cream, which contains nuts, an allergen for me. Had I not been paying attention, I would have been at risk of an allergic reaction and potentially hospitalized.
I informed her that she had made the incorrect order. She apologized and proceeded to use the same utensils to prepare the new dessert without cleaning the counter from the previous one. She intentionally used the same marshmallows that had been added to the first order that was touching the nuts and placed them in the second. After she finished, I noticed that the marshmallows were stale.
I requested a refund, but she refused, stating that she was going to assist the other customers first. She made a rude remark saying she just opened the bag of marshmallows, which was only half full, and then proceeded to help others. My mother intervened, asking her to make a new dessert. However, the employee responded rudely, asserting that she would prioritize helping other customers over us.
She told us "I make $12 an hour" and she's not going to do extra work to make the customer happy. She did not care about the well-being of her customers. I expressed my dissatisfaction by requesting a chocolate ice cream with Oreos. I was not adequately compensated for dealing with such disrespectful and insulting behavior. She made a remark about my 70-year-old mother, which was extremely offensive.
In response to her behavior, I informed her that I would contact her supervisor. She responded with laughter, dismissing the situation as insignificant. It is unacceptable for a business to treat its customers in this manner. We have our own business and would never employ an employee who behaves in such a disrespectful and insulting manner. I am deeply appalled by her actions. She is lucky I am not in the hospital suing her for attempted murder. She should have just refunded me and let me leave. She didn't even give us a receipt for the...
Read moreWe stopped by at approximately 9:40 for sundaes . When I placed my order I was told they could not do it because they already cleaned the cold stone and all we could get was ice cream on a cone or milk shakes . We ordered milk shakes . She handed us two shakes that had the consistency of water .. water . They were so thin and my strawberry milkshake tasted weird . None of use like the watery milkshakes so I asked for a refund . She was shocked and didn't really want to give me one She then Said she could not give me a refund because she could not reach her manager on the phone . I told her I had time To wait because I was not paying 30.00 for inedible milkshakes . She tried calling her manager again and didn't get an answer so she asked me how much she owed me ( wow!) I could have told her any amount and she apparently would have gone with it and gave it to me . I told her the amount and she then gave it to me in cash . ( we paid by card) The point is this expert was horrible from beginning to end ! They were bored I guess and started closing early until we came in and then they refused us service for anything but a basic milkshake or ice cream cone . Extremely unprofessional . These stores are hiring kids who could care less about customer service or the job itself and it shows !I will...
