Historic Owen Theatre — Attraction in Branson

This is a review of the theater itself, not of the performance I attended.

Everyone was very friendly. The theater is very small, and honestly, seating is a bit cramped, especially for a tall person such as myself. I found that sitting for the duration of the performance (2.5hrs, inc intermission) was a long time to sit in the same position, as there is not room enough to cross one's legs. I could not stand straight up from my seat as my hips would not allow me to pass easily between the arms. My companion suggested that since the floor is only slightly graduated, people may be able to see better if the seating was staggered instead of one right behind the other.

All this being said, I will be attending more performances at the Historic Owen Theater, but I will try seating more toward the front, or in the side sections to see if the view is...

The Historic Owens Theater in Branson is such a gem! Their productions are always PHENOMENAL! Footloose was absolutely fantastic!! From start to finish, it was packed with energy, heart, and incredible performances. I love that it showcased so much local talent! Every cast member shined and truly brought the story to life.
