DonLo Mercantile — Local services in Breckenridge

I wouldn't order anything from here again. Ordered a plate, they sent the wrong one (a cheaper version of what I paid for). So they tell me to return it (ie go to the post office during Covid) and they would send me the correct order that day. Three days go by with no communication from them, so I ask about a tracking number. Turns out they hadn't ever shipped it. If I didn't ask for the shipping number, they would've been glad to keep my money. Don't buy anything online from here. They will gladly steal your money, or send you something cheaper than what you paid for hoping you won't notice. Bad business practice. Bad customer service.

Response to business owner's edit: "responded to emails as soon as I could" to business owner means waiting to respond only when pressed about it on social media (3 days later). Business owner had time during this period to make several instagram posts and stories advertising to come to the shop to spend your money, but didn't have the time to fulfill an incorrect order. Point is- customer had to jump through hoops to make sure business owner was being honest about incorrectly fulfilled order. Tip to customers: be selective about where you spend your hard earned money during these times. Support HONEST...

It's rare these days to find a shop like DonLo Mercantile. I have been blown away by their professionalism, kindness, and sincerity. My order contained 3 ceramic mugs. 2 arrived damaged. I sent an email and received an immediate response, which shocked me. And it was apologetic, even though it was not their fault. An immediate offer was made to ship replacement mugs and they even included tips on how to repair and repurpose the broken ones: flower pot, pencil holder, etc. AND! I think the reason these may have broken is that DonLo Mercantile is doing their best to be Eco-friendly, avoiding plastic bubble wrap and instead using green packing materials. It's too bad this happened but the way it was handled was textbook. Prompt, professional, sincere. I feel as though I've been shopping here all my life and these folks are dear friends of mine even though it's my first time shopping with them. I can't recommend DonLo Mercantile enough. If you need beautifully curated items for yourself or as a gift, PLEASE shop here and support this amazing business who really does know how to do it right....

Beautiful items but customer service needs improvement. This is our second time in. First time was last year briefly, we were leaving town next day. This year my husband brought me back to this particular store with a purpose. We weren’t even acknowledged and the owner was standing there talking about her previous location to some other customers when we walked in. There was also another attendant in store. After the other group left, we still weren’t attended too and my husband took me in there specifically wanting me to pick out a gift for myself since he won’t be home for Christmas. After we walked out, I told him, thank you but that art galleries with jewelry are abundant, I can find...
