I haven’t posted a Google Review in a while, but this book store reminded me of the importance of reviewing.
This bookstore is pretty darn fantastic. I found almost every single book I was looking for when I arrived; the one book that wasn’t present wasn’t a big deal, as the store owner (who was very kind and readily helpful) took my phone number to let me know when it was available, rather than just saying “We don’t have it,” and leaving it there.
The books’s prices are really fantastic- lots of discounts and most of the books I looked at were selling for half of what one might expect on Amazon (for example, see the price of Margaret Atwood’s “The Handmaid’s Tale,”- pretty cheap) Quality wasn’t bad either- obviously this is a USED bookstore, but surprisingly most books didn’t have tears. The only spots I really saw damage was on the dust covers, but I can easily overlook that. Content of books small imperfections in covers.
I wish I had come here more often, as I would have been able to spend less money on books, read more often, and be your go-to-guy for the hidden gem bookstores of Breckenridge. Well, the latter probably wouldn’t be a big game-changer. No one has a Breckenridge bookstore hidden gem guru. But you know what I mean.
Only problems I saw were books seemed to be a tad disorganized (but, to contradict myself, it was not a problem with the help of the store manager). Still is a perfect place to zone out to all kind of the beauty of literature.

We stayed at a little chalet just outside of town, which came with a hot tub and all-you-can-drink merlot. On a warm, breezy afternoon I stumbled into 9600 Stories. Oh, what an unexpected joy! In their "classics" section I found a copy of Alberto Moravia's novel "1934," a rather teasing work, which echos, eerily, the exact trajectory of my very own life, at least the life I sometimes dream of living. C'est la vie. A splendid book shop, I highly...
Read moreMy husband and I found this bookstore in a sort of hidden place in the area. A TOTAL HIDDEN GEM. We stopped by and spent a good while looking at all the different book collections. My husband found a Jurassic Park book & I got two books. The guy at the front was super generous and gave us a discount because I was originally trying to pick one out of the two that I liked more. I ended up getting both thanks to the $2 discount. It’s a quiet place to look around and get away from crowds, but also enjoy yourself and the...
