Where do I begin, let me start with ester is a great employee and amazing customer service! Let me remind you my whole house is filled with furniture from here and this isn’t the first issue we have had with them but continue to give them our service. When my sister got her bed delivered they tore up her whole ceiling and wasn’t even going to say anything in her other home. so I bought a bed w my sister during the Memorial Day sale. I only bought the bed because I liked the moveable base. My bed was perfectly fine and I did not need a new one but was excited about the base! It got delivered w out the moveable base, I got told I never purchased the moveable base when I had three people with me overhear them tell me I’m getting the moveable base, again the only reason I bought the bed lol. Also not all of our pillows were delivered we were supposed to receive 4 we only received two and no one was even going to tell us the other two were “out of stock” so they said on the phone after I called 16 times. I called the manager Steven and he took a while to get back to me but helped me get a base reasonable to what I wanted. He told me I would be told when they are back in stock (pillows) but again I had to continue to reach out myself to get what I had payed for lol. The best is! Today they were supposed to be delivered between 9-11 scheduled by the manager Steven. I called the day before and told them I still have not heard what time frame I need to be home by so Jackie left me a message saying 9-11 will be my delivery time, never once did she tell me I need to confirm. It was 12pm I had to call them AGAIN and ask when they would be delivered. Some lady answers the phone and says my name out loud while talking to someone else. Very rude continues not to talk to me on the phone for about 30 seconds. Then tells me I was supposed to call and confirm, they then had poor ester drive my pillows to my house, lady is a saint. Came here today to purchase a La Z Boy sectional. The sales associate explained to us that their store guarantee is to beat any competitor’ price In the surrounding states plus take off 10%. We went and got another quote from the La Z Boy store and brought it back to this store. They took it back into the office and kept us waiting for almost half an hour. Then, the sales manager, Will Simmons, came out and rudely told us that he would not honor the guarantee. We asked him to explain why and he refused and belittled us and was extremely confrontational. I was appalled by his behavior and unprofessionalism. The guarantee had no fine print and he continued to refuse to explain to us why he would only match the price. I tried to steer the conversation into a civil manner and he shut down and walked away when I asked for an apology for his blatant rudeness to us when we were there ready to spend almost $6,000. He then suggested we leave the store and walked away. I asked for the general manager’s name, he refused to give it to me, nor would he give me the corporate number. Completely unprofessional and such a horrible experience after doing exactly what we were told to get the 10% discount. I came to Johnny Janosik World of Furniture in September 2021 because I needed to furnish an entire home. A friend recommended JJ because I had already spent the last few months visiting numerous furniture stores in the tri-state area and was unable to find quality furniture pieces while still paying reasonable prices. My experience At Johnny Janosik location in Wilmington, Delaware turned out to be unbelievably amazing. I worked with a sales associate, Paul, and a home designer, Grace, who were simply amazing. It was obvious from the beginning that they love what they do! They provided excellent customer service throughput the time I worked with them. They followed-up promptly after each meeting and they were extremely thorough in making sure they understood my vision for my home and my, likes, and dislikes from the very first meeting. After gathering all the necessary information, they invited me back to the store to do an amazing presentation for furniture designs for my home. They were patient and not pushy.

Although I never write reviews, I felt compelled to write about my wonderful experience because working with Paul and Grace to furnish my home was the best shopping experience...
