It’s taking me a long time to write this, because we were so frustrated for a long time and I needed time to cool down. This review is for our wedding last October. Anyway, the only reason they are getting a 3 star is because the final product looked good. If I had only based this review off of the service before the wedding it would have been a 2 or even a 1. So, my husband went the first time with his brothers and dad. They had a good experience for the most part. He went in wanting navy. They didn’t have exactly what he wanted in the rental. They had it, but he would have had to buy it. For rental they only had brighter or darker than what he wanted. He settled on the brighter one. They also told him he could bring in the bridesmaids dresses at a later time and they would match the ties to it. Well… we went to do that and they only had 2 employees in the entire store. We ended up waiting forever. Well, it turns out they went ahead and ordered him ties at the first appointment even though we didn’t have the exact color. We went in there to do it and they had very few options. None of them were a solid color and they didn’t have a straight maroon or burgundy. We also asked for a navy tie to match my husbands suit and they didn’t even have that. We ended up purchasing separate ties from Kohl’s that worked better then anything they had. They had also told my husband that because he’s had fit issues in the past he could come into the store and try on his suit 2 weeks prior to the wedding in case they needed adjustments. Well… that was false information… he didn’t get to pick up the suit until 2 or 3 days before the wedding. They said they would have a tailor on site to make sure the suit fit correctly. Again, he had fit issues and they kept telling him it was fine. The white under shirt was scratchy, the sleeves were too short, the collar was too tight, and the shirt was really baggy throughout the chest. Again, we ended up needing to purchase a new dress top from Kohls. The jacket unfortunately had fit issues too, but there was nothing we could do about that. We went in for a new suit and a suit or shirt and tie for my son, who is 13. I looked online and they had things available for his age and I thought perfect, one stop shop and done! We have purchased from this store years ago and had a great experience. We walked in and the gentleman who helped us was immediately trying to sell my husband a$700+ suit when we informed him he wears scrubs to work and that wouldn’t be necessary he still tried to tell us how important it would be to have I. Our closet for some day. Literally, he was a poor salesman that gave you the greasy vibes! After trying on some suits, we decided to stick with my husbands suit at home and look at shirts and ties. Grant it my husband is indecisive however this guy was NO help!! Picking out what HE likes and not listening to our ideas and would just stare, I mean not offer any suggestions or try to figure out what my husbands style was or what he liked and didn’t like. It was dreadful! Then, son’s experience. They put him in an ill fitting suit and we decided against it. So I mentioned the website and how they had some shirts and ties. Well NO ONE knew how to order it and I was told they were out of stock then oops they weren’t so finally get one ordered and paid. Received the WRONG shirt and tie. My husband tried to go back and talk with someone at the store and no one could help him AGAIN and the wait was terrible! We called and talked to cs and they were very helpful and ordered us the shirt and tie. They agreed it was described in the description and should be the one we wanted. Got the WRONG one AGAIN. Apparently, they have only one they sell but have multiple online but you can’t get them!!! I ended up ordering from Nordstrom’s and the online experience with them was so easy and they had options of looks to choose from! A little more expensive, not much AND I got what I ordered!!! Read moreMy wife took me to this store to help me find something nice to wear for our anniversary dinner. It’s important to know that I am not fashionable at all and I usually dress “comfy”. This was my first time shopping for “nice” clothes. I’ve never owed anything nicer than hoodies and jeans. I was having a lot of trouble deciding pretty much anything when I finally asked for help. I was checked up on and spoke briefly with a woman whose name I didn’t catch. I wish I could’ve stuck with her as I feel I would’ve had a much better experience. She handed me off to Brandon. Brandon off the bat seemed disinterested and annoyed. Before I was handed off to him I got to explain the reason for my visit and that I am not fashionable at all and would like help in figuring out what suits me and she repeated all that back to Brandon at the beginning. To be completely fair to Brandon, all my answers to his questions were “I don’t know” but I was hoping to maybe get some advice or opinions from someone who understands male fashion. For majority of the time I felt belittled and felt like a burden. There was one point after trying on a dress shirt that he clearly shook his head in disapproval and didn’t seem to like the way I carried the dress shirt before coming over to me and taking the dress shirt from me. I was heading to the counter to purchase this shirt where he was waiting and he went out of his way to meet me half way, shaking his head as he approached, took the shirt, and walked back to the counter. I love the outfit I got but the experience here has left me hurt and insecure. Brandon has a fantastic sense of style and I am still grateful he took some time to try and help me but I really wish he would have been more personable and understanding.
