Crate & Barrel Outlet — Local services in Canton Township

I'm a long time fan of cb2s and was so excited to have an outlet store in Canton Mi. I found it to be a hit and miss store. Some of the furniture is in great condition and worth the discount, but if you wait for a sale on line you can get it new for the same price and guaranteed . The bed section is very questionable . There were beds without screws,siderails, slats,legs,nuts and bolts . They still charged the same 50% off original price for a incomplete bed while cb2s was selling the same items bran new for less. I did purchase a bed . Made sure all parts were there. When they brought it out side into the natural light I could see all the many scraped surface scratches that exposed the rusted metal underneath. Definitely not worth the price I paid. I refused to load it. They tried to tell me it's an outlet store ,all sales final . The manager did give me an additional discount, but still bed is not worth the price I paid. I've sold way better beds on Craigslist for less from cb2s . Advise, totally inspect your purchase before you buy, the lighting in store is designed to enhance. Google what your buying, it still my be available New for less. Disappointed, prices for the damaged furniture were ridiculous. The same broken incomplete furniture is still piled up in back that was there since opening day with no additional discounts. Why ? I will be going back . Enh….i wanted to love this, but k just could not. Initially, I was disappointed to realize that this was a CB outlet, not a Pottery Barn outlet(as I find CB a tad post apocalyptic and soulless🥴), but went anyway to look for children’s rugs and bedding and potentially a dresser.

I had no luck any score. I thought other reviews were just the typical, overly grippie Canton neighbors - but not so😐, CB should be ashamed.

Very limited children’s items - so skip if that’s what you need. 🧸🚂

The furniture is largely 🗑️. Much of it is significantly damaged, exposing the cheap particle board and other subpar materials that make up this expensive furniture. Being partial board, it would be difficult to repair much of this damage, unlike wood, which usually can be blended seamlessly.

The furniture selection here was lovely. They have lots of different options for anybody who is in the market. The back of house employees make the process so easy too. I loved the back of house employees. They were such a huge help moving furniture into my car. Specifically I want to shoutout Daniel C. he was an incredibly kind person and made the moving process so much fun. He was an incredible help and was constantly cracking jokes that my wife and I found hilarious. He even worked well with our kids who were non-stop asking questions about his personal life and job (trust me they’re annoying). Overall he did an outstanding job and made our experience with Crate and Barrel Outlet amazing. I would highly recommend going to this outlet if you’re looking...
