Staples — Local services in Cape Girardeau

Overall, my experience with Staples has been superb. I was having laptop issues and got a free diagnostic. They were very honest with me and didn't try to take my money. Long story short, they told me how I could possibly fix my computer myself so I tried it, and it worked, but I managed to mess up my computer another way, so I returned the part without issue and actually ended up buying a laptop from them. Excellent deal on the laptop, they definitely aren't trying to rip you off with electronic prices, and they give truthful advice instead of just trying to take your money. I'm a computer science major so I can attest that they aren't lying or being unreasonable. However, the reason I didn't give five stars is because the lack of knowledge about the product I chose. The information sticker next to the display said this laptop was the Flex 6 but their website said it was the Flex 14, and so did the employee. However, once I bought the laptop, the sticker on the box says it's the 6. I'm not upset about it because they're practically identical and it's a good deal either way, but I would have appreciated it if I knew exactly what I was getting. Overall, my experience was excellent and I will definitely go to them for any computer-related matters, not Best Buy! Best Buy is a total rip-off for laptops compared to this place, and same with repair services. Staples has been honest and fair with their pricing, and honesty goes a long way. Loving...

ZERO STARS! i came in looking for a Canon scanner to digitize photos. I immediately walked over to the printers and looked around, could not find just scanners. went up front to ask the cashier (male presenting, glasses and orange reddish long hair). i asked, “hi, can you help me i’m looking for a scanner to digitize photos and im not seeing any.” he straight up looks at me and says “uhhh i don’t know, if i had to guess over by the printers.” i asked “can you help me look please?” he just stared at me. i walked away and then after 5 minutes of me looking again, he comes over to me and my fiancé and asks “can he help me.” i told him “he could have helped me the first time and i would have been left the store. i didn’t want his help. we stopped looking and walked out. i ended up going to target. this...

We wanted a glass chair mat for use of our office chair. It was not available in the store. So instead of ordering online which was an option, we went to the physical store. We handed the cashier the item number, price, etc and info we had gotten from checking online. He put the info into the register, ordered for us, and we paid. That was afternoon on Wed.
