Recently purchased Satin Pink 3.8Qt Stockpot at this location. After first use of making plain rice porridge, realized there was rust stain around the inside of the lid. Contacted Customer Support and they told me it was "use issue" . What kind of food do you have to cook to Not have a "use issue" like this??? So I took pictures and sent to store manager and she said it looked like a rust stain and she had asked me to bring it in for refund. But I didn't realize I contacted San Clemente location (by mistake) instead of Carlsbad where I purchased it originally. So I took it to Carlsbad location and showed the email I received from San Clemente store but they said they can't refund or give store credit since I used it. And told me to go to San Clemente!!!???How do you know something like this can happen without using it. Obviously it was defective or made with poor quality. Also Carlsbad location doesn't care what kind of product they sell as long they sell it. When one store recognizes the product was defective and tries to have a good customer service, this location does opposite. I have been collecting Le Creuset and own many pieces but this pot particularly is defective. I am not happy with customer service from Le Creuset itself and Carlsbad location store.    Read morei went to the store today to exchange my cast iron pan for a bigger size. i bought the pan originally at the San Clemente location. the sales associates John greeted me, opened the box to inspect the pan and concluded because the sticker was off on the back and that there were âscratchesâ on the surface it was used and cannot be returned. i was shocked and appalled because i NEVER used this pan and was simply looking to upgrade to a larger size. I never inspected the pan when i bought it in San Clemente as i assumed it was new , but when i came home i looked at the pan and per my inspection it does NOT look used â no scratches on the pan or burn marks on the bottom of the pan. I called the san clemente store and they assured me they do not sell used pans, and that the sticker may be off because the pan i purchased was on display in their store. they asked me to stop by their store to get it returned/ exchanged.
i am appalled at how poorly i was treated by john and his associate. itâs not worth going to these outlets just to save a few dollars. i will never return there and from similar complaints i saw on yelp, john and his manager need...
