The worst experience ever! Last Friday, I believe was 11/11, I went to Carlsbad Tory Burch Store with my mom, and tried to shop a birthday gift for my little sister. Store was very busy and we were totally understand since it is near Christmas season. But we met the worst sale person ever, I think her name was May? Or something, at least sound like May. First all we can’t barely understand her, specially my mom, when we asked her for size 7 sandal, she asked us to wait, we are patiently waited for over 10 mins, then we saw a person brought multiple shoe box from behind, we asked her is there one of us is ours, she ignore, and saying something which we totally don’t understand at all, btw, her voice is so loud and unpleasant, and looks alike her knowledge of the vocabulary was very limited, and the word just jumped out her month one by one, in extremely high volume, near like screaming! We finally understood she want us wait again, my mom couldn’t stand at her it, and asked me to find another sales person, and then I found another lady to help us, Elena? I think it is her name, although store is so busy, overwhelming, we totally understand, but Elena was calm and patiently go back and forth and finally find our shoes. Then we found out that Asian sale lady was fighting with another sale person on the back, we don’t know why, it sounds alike she want to have the shoes buyer already picked, then she said something like she was charged the shoes area, and she want the credit or something, she was so harsh and rude to everyone, even to her coworkers! man it was hard to ignore, and all the buyers were looking at them yelling at each other, oh my gosh, my mom almost had her high pressure, we were kind of running out from store after purchase. It took my mom a while to finally calm down in the car. I am the tory Burch fan, I shopped often in the tory burch store in desert hill, it was first time we shopped here since we just recently moved here, man, worst experience ever, just because of her, we’d rather driving one hour back to our old store! Or hope next time when we visit, we will not saw her! Since one hour driving is way too...
Read more10/06/2022 First and last time in this store. In search of a Birthday gift for my daughter I encountered the worse customer service ever by Connie. When I asked her if she had a particular shoe size she asked her coworker to go check and then told me “by the way you have to leave in 2minutes” in such a rude way I was speechless for a moment. The time was 6:47pm. I responded “doesn’t the store close at 7pm? on a Thursday night? She said we have to make sure everyone leaves by 7. Her coworker came back from the back and told her “we don’t have that size” then she looked at him and said right in front of me “well, tell her” her coworker clueless of her attitude looked at me and spoke to me in Spanish. I stared at Connie and I told her I did not need a translator and that she needed to work on her attitude. In the 20minutes I was there I experienced what no customer should expect from such a high end store or should we? Therefore I went home with a sour unexpected experience. Reflecting on the service I received and spending about $200 in the 20minutes I was there. I decided I should return what I purchased. When I returned it was a morning and they were only allowing a certain number of people in. The employee working there was chatting with another employee and did not acknowledge my presence at the door until she finished her conversation. I am glad I did not have any issues with my return and hope my daughter does not shop this brand again or at least not at this store. I believe all customers deserve royalty service everywhere they shop and employees like Connie should not be allowed to have an arrogant attitude. If stores want to have a store close before their closing time they should change their posted hours. If you decide to shop here have Itzuri be the person that assists you. She patiently and enthusiastically helped me with my purchase. The purchase I had to return due to this horrible experience. Sometimes is not what you say is how you say things that make a difference. I waited a few weeks to make this post because I did not want to write this being upset but keeping quiet does not...
Read moreBeen here twice, and both encounters were not pleasant. The staff here really need to get some proper customer service training.
First time I was here about 2 weeks ago, it was a week day, and the traffic was mid, not super busy. I was asking a staff about the sizing for a pair of shoes, and she was rather dismissive when she answered my question. It sounded like she didn't want to help me. On top of that, another staff bumped me aside to help a customer near me. It felt discriminating, staff were nicer and more attentive to the customers that are white, dressed up nicer, and "look" like they can afford to purchase. I ended up leaving quickly that day.
Second time I went, was on a weekend. I wanted to give this store another try. The same staff that answered my question dismissively last time, was helping me with trying on a pair of shoes. She's got the same rude "RBF" look and tone, that "screams" I don't want to do your business. When I was trying on a bag, I was looking for a mirror closest to me, and another staff was just standing there blocking it off. I stood there for a moment, with their bag in my hand, quite obvious that I'm trying to see how it looks in the mirror, she glanced at me, and continued to speak to another customer. I had to walk around to the mirror that was further. I knew that she saw me, but just didn't want to budge. I ended up purchasing at Marc Jacobs that day.
When I go shopping, I tend to dress very casually, but it doesn't mean that I can't afford it. Making the final purchase has to do with finding something that I like, but also great customer service. Even if I don't find something I like, if the store has great customer service, I would consider coming again.
Tory Burch has good quality products, but this store needs to work on their staff...
