Pretty good! The service experience is similar to Subway, but for pizza. The pizza itself was good, in fact better than expected and one pizza fed both myself and my girlfriend. We were impressed with the staff serving us, the stylish surroundings and (bizzarely) the nice beverage selection (we both had the still Kiwi fruit juice).
We ate inside the restaurant and we liked the fact that our meal had the least amount of waste. Just a piece of paper to line the metal serving plate, the plastic drinks cups which are made from plants, not petroleum and are therefore compostible and a paper napkin each. So all of our waste was biodegradable! Much better than any other restaurant or café that we've visited so far on our trip.
I notice that there are still plastic knives, forks and straws on offer, but all credit to them for doing things mostly right.
The price was pretty fair too, so it won't cost a fortune if you have a family to...
Read morePizza made with white sauce, all of the cheeses, salami, bacon, artichoke hearts, olives, roasted garlic, and chopped garlic. It has Greek and Italian flavors and meld well together. It's a great option if you have any issues with tomatoes or tomato sauce due to the acidity. All of the cheeses might make your crust a little softer than usual but it still tastes wonderful. Meat Lovers pizza made with spicy red sauce, ham, salami, olives, sautéed onions, mushrooms, and roasted garlic. The supreme of supreme pizzas with just enough cheese and sauce peeking out. Yes, this is definitely a manly pizza - overly meaty with just enough vegetables to make mamma happy. Rating: 5/5
S'mores are a great way to end your Blaze Pizza experience. Warmed in the pizza oven until the chocolate and marshmallow starts to melt. Ooey, gooey goodness sandwiched between two McVitie's wheatmeal biscuits. After one bite, you'll want s'more!...
Read moreThe good: the people are so nice! Very friendly and helpful. And quick! They got my pizza made and out in less than 10 minutes. The seating area was also spotless, and they were actively wiping down tables. Good to see! They also have really good gluten free and vegan options, even vegan cheese!
The mid: the pizza itself. I had the spicy pepperoni and they aren’t joking about the spice. But at the same time, for the price, I’d still go to dominos. It was fine. But nothing special. Super thin, cracker-like crust. Good amounts of toppings but light on the flavor besides the spice. They also forgot to add a topping that I requested.
The bad: this may have been the worst bathroom I’ve ever seen. Towels, tp, and grime everywhere. The floor was disgusting. Something was leaking. It smelled awful. And the best part? The door handle was broken and didn’t lock, and so I had someone walk in while I was...
