Went here with a group of friends for drinks and dinner, and everything we ordered was really nice. I got the Grilled chicken sandwich with clam chowder soup on the side. The sandwich was really good, with quite an amount of chicken! The bread was also really fresh, and everything inside went so well together. I was supposed to share it, but ended up having most if it myself! The clam chowder was just okay, I've had better. My boyfriend ordered the chicken ranch pizza, which sounded amazing. I found it a bit too sweet though, and realized after we left that the server got our order wrong and brought us the BBQ chicken pizza instead. Quite a disappointment. Their onion rings are amazing though, and everyone at the table enjoyed them. The Irish potato skins are also top notch! We we're skeptical about what to expect, since there was no description on the menu, but they we're basically loaded potato halves. I wanted to order a second the moment I laid my eyes on them! Service was very quick, and good location too. We we're seated on the patio, which was very aesthetic and had heat lamps too. I would have given a 4 or even 5 star rating, but our server was outright the worst I have ever encountered. They were very rude, dismissive, extremely racist towards us. I went in to ask questions about seating availability, and then later to pay the check since they never brought it to our table, and every time she barely paid attention to me and cut me off, telling me to go back to the patio and wait for her there (without even hearing me out)....

January 30, 2024 update. Not sure what has happened to our once favorite stop. Brought friends here a couple of months back. Burgers were overdone & dry. Fries were overcooked as was the rest of our food. We were quite embarrassed. We visited again tonight. My burger was better than the last however still less moisture than in the past. My wifes chicken sandwich (her usual) was dry and flat. The chicken breast was more thin than the skinny fries, see photo. It would appear Mulligans had their time, and now that's over :(

Another great burger. May 15, 2022 Delicious food-nice selection of beer-mixed drink-laid bar bar setting inside, outdoor dining/patio outside. Mulligans is one of our top "go to" places for a burger! Why? #1 the bun! You can have great beef but if the bun is to thick or dense ya can't taste the beef. Next is the beef has a great flavor & you have a choice of 3 toppings. I added pickled Jalapeños, avocados - lettuce, dill pickels, tomatoes & raw onions included & of course French fries. For $2 I upgraded to garlic fries. Wife had a boring grill chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries said it was really good. BEER: Nice selection on tap - had a Firestone IPA ,was mild, hazy and pretty tasty. Other good burgers around Carmel include Visuvio happy hour/bar menu...also good to sit up...

Had a good meal here while visiting Carmel. With many of the sidewalk and indoor tables full, we ended up under a heater on the back patio that worked out great. Even being the only ones back there, we had amazing service by a young man all evening. He made strong food and drink selections, which added a star for us.

All said and done, with 2 drinks, 2 meals, and a split dessert with tip, cost $92. We tipped 20% due to the good service. The drinks were typical pub drinks and not anything above the expected. Had the Philly cheese steak. Unfortunately, not the best this side of Philly, like someone noted in another post. I've had better off a lunch truck in Fresno, recently. So, maybe this side of the Central Valley? Wife has the pasta, which was great, but...why leave the tails on the shrimp? Now we have to take them out of the dish, take the tail off, then put back in the dish. Key Lime Pie was good, the fruit compote on top (new to me) was even better. That topping would make an amazing tart.

Parking is BRUTAL! We walked 5 blocks to get there from a parking spot we were lucky to get. Would pay the underground parking on the next...

I had been to Mulligans a couple of years ago for drinks but never had their food Unfortunately, my visit for their food was less then impressive. I was actually looking forward to having the Fish and Chips but for an overpriced meal. Which incidentally; felt like an appetizer. It was merely 2 small 5 inch long pieces of deep fried fish plopped on a large mound of overly salty, measley fries in a strange presentation that would make Gordon Ramsay use a few curse words. To make matters worse the potatoes skins almost cost as much my Fish and Chips and I've had better potatoes skins from frozen ones by TGi Fridays that you can pick up in the frozen food section The only redeeming value to my meal was the draft Guinness. And our friendly server. Next time I'll pick a place that serves Real meals and not overpriced appetizers.

We have visited Mulligan's a couple times- once for fun with friends and the second time when we rented it out for our wedding welcome party! It was the perfect place to kick off the wedding weekend. It has a very fun, welcoming feel, and Erin (the general manager) was really great to work with. She was super friendly and attentive during our event, and even gave us a little gift bag at the end of the night! Our guests loved having the bar to socialize at, or the back patio for a bit quieter space if desired. Also, of note, my dad went here another time to scope the venue out and was absolutely star struck to find out it's a local haunt for Pebble Beach caddies! Highly recommend!
