TLDR: I was told multiple incorrect dates for when the suit would be available and Jasmine was incredibly rude to me and not at all helpful.
I was helped about five weeks ago in-store to get fitted for a wedding that will occur this Saturday, 8/7, in Virginia. My experience in-store was fine. I was told that the suit would be ready for pickup two weeks before the wedding date. I confirmed this with the man I spoke with to make sure since I'll have to be in VA on Friday morning for prep and the rehearsal. I called last week since I had not been notified of the suit coming in and was told it'd be available this Wednesday at the latest so that I'd have time to get last minute adjustments made if necessary. I called again today (8/3) and spoke to Jasmine. I tried explaining the situation to her and before I was finished she interrupted me and told me "I don't know why you thought that it would be available two weeks before or who told you that but it's two days, not two weeks." I asked if we could check the status of the shipment and she acted as though I was inconveniencing her. She told me it might be here by Thursday but would be there Friday at the latest. I told her I had to leave on Thursday to get to VA and asked if it was possible to reroute. She told me it was not yet on the truck but she couldn't reroute. I asked what we could do if it wasn't here by the time I need to leave and she said nothing. I work in customer service so I'm always as understanding as possible, but this has the potential to throw a wrench in my friend's wedding and Jasmine was at times indifferent, but more often overtly rude, despite me being polite the entire time. Horrendous service. I will update to 2 stars if this does arrive by Thursday.
EDIT: Suit arrived on time so bumping it up to two stars. Still a very...
Read moreI write this review as a person who has shopped at Men's Wearhouse quite bit over the years. I typically like it because, while the suits and other items are mid-level quality, the service is generally quite good. This Men's Wearhouse is an exception.
I have been incredibly disappointed with the service I have received. The manager, the sales people and the tailor's (with the exception of the Asian tailor) are inattentive, unfriendly and continually make me feel like I am an inconvenience to them.
My fiance and I are getting married at the end of this year and have had all our groomsmen buy suits from Men's Wearhouse. Today was probably my 5th or 6th time visiting this store. The 1st time, I walked in and the manager gave me seemingly as little help or info as possible. I left a little unsure but chalked it up to him having a bad day. Unfortunately, every visit since has gotten progressively worse culminating in today. I went it with my suit which the tailor had altered once already and was hoping to get it loosened in the belly area and tightened a touch in the waist. Once again I was met with impatience, rudeness and being treated like I was somehow an inconvenience to them. I received this treatment from both the tailor and the salesman (though the salesman was trying somewhat to be attentive, to his credit). Nonetheless, I was fed up, told them to give me my suit back and I would take it to another Men's Wearhouse where hopefully I would receive better service.
Bottom line, this store is poorly run and it starts with the manager. Very...
Read moreWe went into the store tonight to try to find my husband clothes for a new job, and it was the worst experience weâve ever had in a Menâs Wearhouse.
The person who greeted us brought us to the shirt section, and then wandered off, and never came back to help us. In the past, when we have shopped at Menâs Wearhouse, we got to work with someone who made suggestions and brought us different sizes or styles.
No one helped us, so I ended up running back and forth across the store trying to find pants for my husband. The pants were not properly organized so it was a chaotic mess of multiple cuts, multiple brands, and sizes unorganized in the same section (organized by color.) While I was trying to find different sizes, the staff was standing around talking to each other.
In addition to all of this, there were shirt pins ALL OVER the storeâevery step I took I stepped on at least two pins. We had our two kids with us and it was a safety hazard to have them in the store.
When my husband checked out, they shoved everything in the same small bag. In the past when we have shopped at Menâs Wearhouse, they offered to press or steam the new clothes before we left.
I was really disappointed in this experience. We certainly wonât be returning to this store location, and might be done with the company altogether after this.
Make sure you have a tetanus shot...
