I only usually go to Kohl's to return items from Amazon. I don't like Kohl's for a few reasons: The main reason is they keep moving the location of Amazon Returns inside the store. Just two days ago, I went in Kohl's to return items to Amazon. There was no signs at the entrance directing a person to Amazon Returns, so I went to the where they were located a month before. Amazon Returns was no longer there. So the search began. I walked around the entire store with critically injured knees, looking for Amazon Returns. There were no signs, like they usually have posted. I ended up walking the entire inside perimeter to the other entrance where a sign was posted. The sign was not big, it was not attention-getting, and it read, "Amazon returns in Toys". So I scanned the ceiling height for the toy department. I saw over a dozen department signs. The more I looked, the more department signs I saw. None of the signs said "Toys". I began walking around the store, with both my knees hurting more at each step. I was almost out of breath. I was getting angrier by the second. Would it have been too much trouble to include an arrow pointing in the direction of the toy department on the sign? Well, well, well . . . all the way in the back corner, furthest point in the store from the entrance doors was the fricken toy department. I wonder if it was somebody's STUPID IDEA to pull this little prank to force people to get more familiar with the store layout. In the past three years, Amazon Returns has been in 5 different locations in the same store. Maybe someone would suggest I keep quiet about this little game they play at the Brandywine store location, because the store layout manager has a compulsive impulse it seems, to constantly change things. I don't care about changing things- do whatever makes you happy and satisfied. BUT DON'T PUNISH THE CUSTOMERS FOR YOUR COMPULSIVE OBSESSION. Post signs throughout the store prominently with directional arrows, like you used to, starting at the...
Read moreI ordered an item online for pickup but I can’t make it to the store now. So, I called to see if they could cancel my order and the lady on phone said they couldn’t cancel. So, I told her, could she just give me refund. She said she would issue me a refund and it would take 24 hours to process the refund. The next day I checked to see if my refund was process but the lady didn’t process it as a refund. Somehow, I think the lady process my order as a pickup when I didn’t physically step into the store to pickup the item. Well, I called this store to find out what happened and explained to associate and manager that I called the lady from this store yesterday to request a refund but the manager said he would get back with me the next day, after they investigate to find out what happened. I never received the call from manager, so I decided to call today and speak with manager. The manager seemed like he did nothing about my order because I had to remind him that my order showed that it was pickup and I didn’t physically go in the store to pick it up and that the lady must of process my order for pickup instead of for refund. So, he then says that he will process my refund this afternoon but he didn’t. I also ask why he had to wait to process my refund this afternoon and he never really gave me an answer. So, I decided to call kohls corporate customer service and they are just as bad as associates in the store…talking about my refund will take 7 days to process. I was upset because I paid for my item and can’t receive it. Also, I wasn’t the one that make the mistake of processing my order as a pick up, it was the associates fault. So, why does the customer have to go through this run around with getting a refund when an order was never pickup. I will never order from kohls for pickup anymore. This is ridiculous and an inconvenience because they really not helping me get my product that I ordered or they taking they time giving...
Read moreOn Black Friday I walked in to the Kohl’s on RT 202 in Delaware. I specifically wanted to look at jewelry for my husband. I walked around the jewelry counter observing the sales lady helping another customer. I gestured to her so that she knew I needed help also. After I did that I continued looking at the jewelry case, I understood the wait for service I understood she was busy. She walks over to me speaking high pitched and fast saying that she was busy and she would be a minute and she been there all day and she had been on her feet since 6 am.... okkk. I smiled and told her I understood. Just a few minutes later another salesperson walks over to help. Instead of tending to me both sales ladies began talking and ringing up the first customer. They were talkative and nice to her so I waited. However it doesn’t take two people to ring and bag for one person. But I waited. Finally she walks over to me and I told her what I was looking for, she advised me that she didn’t have the size and abruptly left me standing there after a 10 second interaction. She had no other product suggestions nothing else to offer and left me standing there. I still looked and the other lady walks over to me. O asked to see other rings and she goes to show me but pulls her hand back as I reach out to look at the ring. She then takes a step back and she must have realized how she behaved and suggested I get a Kohl’s card. (No thank you I have excellent credit and I would like to keep it) I said no I won’t pay that way. I asked to see another ring and before she let me see it she abruptly walks over to the register to inform me the price. At that point I wasn’t feeling the love and it was plain that I was pre judged based on whatever ill misconceptions they had. I no longer felt comfortable and for sure not wanted as a customer. I feel like jewelry purchases, even at Kohl’s, takes informative and patient people who are also willing to serve...
