This place is great and good to go see a movie and eat. I've had a good experience here but the reason for 3 stars is because of recently I went to see a movie. I ordered my food and some drinks before the movie. I told the lady no cheese on my fries as she repeated what I said and said ok. When I got them they had cheese on them. I told her they have cheese on them can I get another with no cheese. So she said sorry and took them away. Half way through the movie I noticed she never came back so I pushed the button and 5mins later my light was off so I pushed it again and she came out. I told her about my fries and she looked at me like she was lost. She told me I never ordered any fries. Right there was enough to start some drama but I'm not the type plus I was enjoying my movie so good thing I took some pics and told her she took them with cheese on it and was supposed to bring me some without. She left and came back 10mins later saying her manager was supposed to bring them out and forgot but now the kitchen is closed. I'm like really she forgot. I tell you what don't charge me for the fries (because I already paid for them after I ordered. Yes they do offer to pay early.) Give me the bill so I can watch the rest of my...
Read morePLEASE FIX YOUR MAPS DATA, GOOGLE! This strip center has become an essential destination for area residents, containing a large, 3D-capable movie complex, well-stocked Walgreens Pharmacy, excellent dry cleaner, a number of chain restaurants seemingly geared to movie-goers -- plus the area's best MRI facility, Open MRI at Painters' Crossing. Unfortunately, Google and Google Maps will often direct you to the WRONG LOCATION if you search for Open MRI at Painters' Crossing, the street address 170 Painters' Crossing Road, or even "Painters' Crossing Shopping Village." In each case, Google seems determined to take you someplace south of US 202. Also, this is NOT a mall, as Google classifies it, but a strip center.
THE WORKAROUND. My advice to Google users seeking any of the businesses in this shopping center would be to enter the street address "Crossroads of US 202 and US 1, Chadds Ford, PA 19382" or "1201 US 202, Chadds Ford PA 19382. iPhone or iPad users could simply use Apple Maps, which took me to the correct location when I searched for "painters crossing" or the businesses...
Read moreThere is some building and changing going on in the shopping center. I do know that El Gran Rodeo is moving to where TGIF used to be. As for the other restaurants down in that end, I have no idea what's going to happen to them. Popcorn Obsession is still one of my favorite locations here along with Delco's Original Steaks. The restaurants here are actually pretty good to go to and don't forget about the movie theater. The parking area here is...
