The clothes at Lululemon are UNMATCHED. The lightweight fabric and outstanding quality of the clothing items will make you extremely happy when you try them on which made my experience! However, if you are a person of color I would highly reccomend going to Lululemon to get your sizing (because the clothes do run small) and then shopping online. I felt very uncomfortable by the associates, it seemed that out of a large quantity of employees that they had working on Black Friday, none of them were of color and this was of no surprise to me but has an underlying feeling of extreme discomfort. When shopping online, the diversity of the company is largely apparent and cannot be missed. With that being said, it sucks to feel like you can’t go in store without feeling as though you don’t belong as a woman of color (or anyone for that matter), but I will no longer be shopping at this location and will only shop online. Read moreOutstanding service can completely change how you feel about a brand, and that’s exactly what happened when I spoke with Melanie at the Charleston Lululemon store.
The difference in customer service between Charleston and Mount Pleasant was like night and day. At Mount Pleasant, I had a disappointing call with a manager who was not very friendly or helpful. In contrast, Melanie at Charleston went above and beyond from the very first moment.
I called to ask about a specific item. She immediately said, “Hang tight, let me check for you.” Within a minute she was back on the line, letting me know they didn’t have it in stock. Without me even asking, she offered to look at other locations. She found the item, gave me the details, and did all of it with a friendly, professional tone.
That kind of initiative and genuine customer care makes a huge difference. Melanie truly represents the best of Lululemon. I’ll continue shopping at the Charleston store because of the experience...
Read moreI love shopping at Lulu. I always spend 100s every time I shop. Today I had about 800 worth of stuff to buy for my bday. NOT ONE employee acknowledged my presence. Not one ee asked if i needed help, a different size or anything. I DID stand by a dressing room and a girl asked if i needed to try on and asked my name. Never got asked another thing. However I could clearly hear them greeting other customers, helping them get other sizes. I left feeling invisible and put all my merchandise back. Do better girls. All customers are valuable. And I promise I had all the money to spend but y’all chose to help college students looking for bargains and customers who looked like you. Not a good experience at my favorite brand store. King Street location in...
