We recently moved to the Charlotte area, so this was a fun way to see the city and learn more about the history. On the plus side, our guide Ricky was very informative and enthusiastic about his job. It was fun to ride around in a fancy golf cart. It was an easy tour for my elderly parents to enjoy - they make pick-up and drop-off easy. On the negative side, our guide was a very fast talker which made it challenging to understand at times. Because we had six people on the tour, my hubby and I had to sit in the back facing backwards and the guide could have been aware of this rather than saying "over here we have" when we couldn't see what direction he was pointing. Also, because there was a football game happening, we couldn't go by either sports stadium due to road closures. I wish they would tell you this when you book on game days. Read moreI believe our tour guides names was Omni???? He was a young adult 19 years old and he was more than kind, patient and had alot of knowledge of Charlotte! He gave a great tour, we laughed, my husband and I asked lots of questions, learned and absolutely loved it! We definitely got our monies worth!!!!!! Great tour for a great price!!! Lastly , my husband made sure to leave him a tip because he presented himself very maturely. Tour guide was awesome, learned a lot about Charlotte and saw some beautiful old homes that are tucked away. I would not have known this residential area existed had we had not gone on the tour.
