Spectrum News — Local services in Charlotte

First of all, I don't like the name: Spectrum. I liked "Time Warner Cable.". I miss the name. As a cable company, it's good. However, the constant pressure for payment bothers me. For those who are in tight financial situations, it's downright hard to cope with.

That said, as a news group, it's up and coming. Especially, I love their "Weather on the Ones" segments. They're great to keep the weather in mind. And I love Jeff Crum, and the rest of the weather reporters. I also love their positive news slant-- they find ways to incorporate good news in the mix. Unlike the Big Three:. Spectrum is the most trash internet provider. Our Internet goes out almost every week. The outages can range from an hour to most of the day. We had a technician come out and he was rude and condescending and swore up and down that he fixed the issue. The next day, the internet went out again. The only reason we keep the service is because it’s free in our community. We work from home and this is the biggest annoyance.
