First Commonwealth Bank — Local services in Cincinnati

We are building a house so have had to do a bridge loan for our current mortgage and a construction loan for the build. A very overwhelming process made much more simple, working with Ken Meyer and Andrea Tall. We switched builders and Ken readjusted his game plan and didn’t miss a beat. All the terminology being thrown around had me feeling helpless at times. Ken was very patient and explained what everything meant, each step of the way.

The biggest thank you in the world goes to Ken when it comes to closing our loan. Our builder delayed closing for months and then at the last minute, wanted the loan closed in under 2 weeks or we would see a $20,000 increase in our build due to them being hit with major price increases from their vendors. Being a business owner I completely understand that their costs are doubling and tripling so I explain the situation to Ken. He got with his boss and they put the hammer down And got everything done and us closed on the last business day before we would’ve been hit with the increase!

A simple five star Google review isn’t enough of a thank you for Ken Meyer and his team for saving us $20,000 plus interest over 30 years on our loan!

Literally the worst loan closing. We’ve only closed on two home and this one by far exceeds the lack of communication, last minute issues, not knowing how much our house payment was until closing, still working on final details a month after being in the home compared to the last one. TOTAL MESS!! Ken Meyer is very unorganized and doesn’t tell you want is still needing done until you have an hour or two to finish. With two full time jobs and also being a student that makes things almost impossible when you have to run downtown to fix mistakes. Would not...
