When I joined Queen City CrossFit 3 years ago, I couldn’t walk up stairs and talk at the same time. Now, at 50 years old I am more active than I’ve ever been. I’m down 40 lbs, jumping rope, climbing stairs, and deadlifting 180 lbs! 💪 I’ve never been able to stay consistent with fitness—until I found this place. The coaches are incredible, they help tailor each movement to what’s best for me and my goals. They always push me to do my best while making safety a priority. The community is full of FUN, supportive, people. I’ve not only gained strength, but also lifelong friends who will always have my back! If you want a gym that truly cares — not only for your fitness goals but your wellness as a whole then Queen City CrossFit is the best in business 🙌

Dropped in to QCF for a workout while in town for a wedding. Evan was prompt and courteous when replying to emails. He also happened to be my coach during class and specifically addressed some of my mobility issues. I could see he takes the time to instruct, coach, and drive improvement with all his athletes - he's paying attention. The workout itself was the right mix of varied, fun, and challenging and was the perfect way to get my dancing legs ready for later that night. Thanks Evan and QCF. One comment -- I always like when dropping in to a gym they give you a discounted (or free) tee - the extra drop-in fee you toss gyms is always pretty steep, so I feel like getting a memento out of the deal helps soften the blow to the wallet.

I've done Crossfit at many different gyms, and I can tell you that Queen City is one of the best. If you're new to Crossfit, you'll find a welcoming community that's friendly, humble, and not bro-ey, Also, the coaches pay attention to you during class (not that common). If you're an experienced Crossfitter, you'll enjoy some awesome WODs and good people to keep you motivated. I definitely recommend this place!

TL;DR: Queen City CrossFit is more than just a gym; it's the place where you transform into the best version of yourself.

I joined QCCF to get back in shape, but what I've received in the past 7 months is more than just a number on the scale.

A decade ago, I was injured playing college rugby and I never returned to that same level of athleticism. I felt disconnected from my body and that mental betrayal manifested as I grew heavier and unhealthier over the years (overweight, high LDL, on-track for future CVD or diabetes).

I moved to Cincinnati about 8 months ago for school determined to become the person I always knew I could be (professional, physically, mentally). I joined QCCF to take care of the physical part. However, with the stress of work and life, CrossFit quickly became my daily respite.

It is the part of the day I cherish most. When I'm trying to finish the WOD, the only thing I'm thinking about is my heart rate, not the myriad of tasks I have to do or the events of the day. But most importantly to me, I'm reconnecting with my body and surprising myself with what I am able to do physically that I thought I would never be able to again (I'm pointing at you squat snatches!!!).

I feel better physically and mentally. The mind-body connection is what CrossFit has given back to me and I'm so excited to continue my fitness journey with QCCF. One day I'll be an RX athlete ;)

Stay tuned, World! Oh, and join QCCF if you hadn't gotten...

Joining Queen City CrossFit (QCCF) has been my best decision since moving to Cincinnati in late 2022. This gym isn't just a place to work out; it's a community that has profoundly impacted my life.

The heart of QCCF lies in its people. Everyone contributes to an incredibly supportive environment, from Dan, the owner, to the coaches and fellow members. The coaches stand out for their expertise and genuine care for each member's progress. They prioritize safe, effective movements, providing what feels like personalized attention even in group classes.

QCCF's true value became evident in a life-altering moment. In April 2024, I survived an assault outside my home, largely due to the strength and conditioning I'd gained through CrossFit. During my recovery, Dan went above and beyond, allowing me to use the gym's second floor for physical therapy and strength rebuilding before I was cleared for full workouts. This level of support and accommodation is rare and speaks volumes about QCCF's commitment to its members.

Having experienced various gym styles across different cities - from Orange Theory to Planet Fitness - I can confidently say QCCF offers something unique. It's more than just equipment and classes; it's a kickass community that pushes you to achieve your goals, matching the coaches' intensity with peer encouragement. Whether you're a fitness novice or a seasoned athlete, QCCF provides the perfect blend of challenge, support,...

Joining QCCF in 2018 has been one of the best decisions I've ever made for my fitness journey. The coaches at QCCF excel at creating an environment that is both entertaining and light-hearted, while maintaining a strong focus on helping members reach their peak fitness levels. Whether it's achieving a personal record (PR) or receiving expert mobility guidance, the support is always there.

As a morning person, I've mostly attended classes with Dan and Cody. Their energy and dedication are truly inspiring. However, whenever I attend an evening or weekend class, Mel, Lindsey, Jake, and Lucas each bring their own unique styles to keep their classes engaging and dynamic. This variety ensures that every session is fresh and motivating.

The community at QCCF is incredibly supportive and encouraging. The camaraderie and added motivation from fellow members have helped me achieve personal records that I never thought possible. It's not just about the workouts; it's about the people who make every effort feel worthwhile.

Dan has truly put his heart and soul into making QCCF one of the best affiliates in Cincinnati. His passion and commitment are evident in every aspect of the gym. If you're in town for a work visit or need to break through a fitness plateau, QCCF is the spot for you in Cincinnati. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting out, you'll find a welcoming and empowering...
