If you value your safety, your sanity, and your car, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. What should have been a pleasant dinner outing turned into an absolute disaster, thanks to the reckless behavior being openly tolerated by the owners and management.

First, let’s talk about the ambiance — if by ambiance, you mean a crime-ridden circus, then yes, it’s got plenty of that. I’ve heard of restaurants with an “edgy” vibe, but this is ridiculous. Imagine sitting down to eat, only to find that your meal is accompanied by the sight of drug deals happening right at the tables next to you. That’s right — it’s clear that the owners not only allow but seemingly encourage the open drug dealing that takes place in broad daylight, every single day. Customers are treated to the spectacle of people huddling together, exchanging goods, and casually handing over cash while the management does nothing to stop it.

But it gets worse. The parking situation is a complete joke. The lot next door is completely overtaken by these same dealers, who are loitering around, leaning on people's cars, and looking for any opportunity to cause trouble. Good luck finding a spot because it’s practically impossible to park there without dealing with these individuals. And don’t even think about leaving your car unattended — there's a real chance your vehicle could be broken into while you're inside trying to enjoy your meal. It's clear that the management has zero interest in addressing the situation. It's like they’re turning a blind eye to the daily chaos.

As for the food? It’s irrelevant at this point. After witnessing such an egregious lack of oversight and care, the idea of enjoying any meal here becomes unthinkable. I’m not sure what’s worse — the drugs, the thievery, or the fact that the owners are fully complicit in letting it all happen. They’re more interested in turning a profit than ensuring any semblance of safety or decency for their customers.

In short: this is a disaster waiting to happen. I’d highly advise you to avoid this establishment like the plague. If you’re looking for a pleasant dining experience, you’re not going to find it here. This place is a hotbed for illegal activity, and the management's refusal to act makes it clear they don't care about anything other than their bottom line. Do yourself a favor — take your...

Worst falafel i’ve ever had. squishy and soft outside and in. yuck. I think they literally forgot to cook them. just dough balls. my two companions got burgers. Ordered them “well done” and were not forewarned that these burgers were nothing like the photos. This was the thinnest patty I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m talking deli meat thin. THEN they burned it to a crisp because it was such a small amount of meat that there was no way not to. And the cheese was burned too, somehow. The food that was fried tasted like it was fried in super old grease and I got terrible heartburn after eating just a tiny bit. my friend asked to use a sink to wash her hands before she ate. They don’t have a sink for patrons. Only one in the absolutely disgusting kitchen. Never would’ve ordered if we had seen the kitchen before ordering food. This was nearly $50 worth of food. Absolutely inedible. I can’t believe anyone has ever given this place a good review. The only reason they are in business is because, the late night food options in Cincinnati are so pathetic. They should be out of business based on their disgusting...

Customer service and attention to detail is very lacking. Ive tried the "new" restaurant 2 or 3 times and i wont be back again. No other customers when i went in on my lunch break and ordered a to go order. Then another customer came in and the employee and new customer chit chatted a bit while my order still wasnt started. New customer got their order. Then i got my order. I went back to work to eat my lunch and there were missing items. So i had to go back and retrieve them, leaving me very little time left on my lunch break to eat. The gyro meat was very dry and with less meat than before and the sauce is very runny compared to before. The previous time i was there, i ordered the same as i always do, and it was not cireect and i was over charged. The employee told me i should have ordered it differently. (I ordered the same way ive always ordered it and it had been correct in the past). It was much better and friendlier when it was Al Amir. I love to support small businesses, especially ones that are about 150 ft from where i work, but i wont be back...

Excellent experience. I travel frequently and globally and have experienced this style cuisine in many countries and this place stacks right up there with the best. We both got the gyro plates, one with rice and one with fries (the latter was at my request). We also ordered grape leaves, falafels, and hummus. The one with fries was served with the gyro meat and sauce on top of the fries, and I have to say, if you haven’t tried it this way before, I’d suggest it in lieu of doing it inside pita bread. There’s a place in Australia that serves it this way and I have become a fan of it…I’m glad I found somewhere locally that does the same. Think of it as a Mediterranean version of “chili cheese fries”! The humus had, if I remember correctly, a combination olive oil and lemon juice with spices on top. The individual serving us was friendly and accommodating, answered questions about the menu and even came out and socialized for a bit with us. Give this place a try!

I was downtown and headed to the Food Trucks when I say their sign and decided to go here inside. Great idea on my part because the food was delicious, I don’t like raw tomatoes but the way they had it on my Gyro I ate them. The seasoned fries was great, and my Gyro was loaded with meat. I spent just over $17 including tip for a drink, sandwich and fries. I definitely will be going back and exploring other restaurants around the area. Even thou I thought I was hungry I only managed to eat less than half my sandwich even with me eating the meat only off of it my sandwich still has a lot of meat left.

Really good generous portioned Gyros & Schwarma - killer seasoned fries and service with a smile! by the young U of C college guy that cooked & served us. Reasonable prices.. $9.99 ea Fries $3.99 / drinks $2.79-$3.99 We split a Gyro & Chicken schwarma between 4 of us and it was plenty Weekday lunch VERY BUSY try to beat the rush by going by 11am Like 5 tables inside & some Outdoor seating as well.. 4 stars for atmosphere due to the usual suspects (annoying homeles/beggar types) in the city.. not Halal food Inc.'s Fault.. would definitely eat there again!
