Skip Disney and Universal and do this instead! This was by far the most incredible part of our trip and both our children said “that was way better than Disney and Universal Studios, hands down”. Coming from a 10 and 13 year old, that says a lot! Captain Andrew and Nathan were the most knowledgeable, kind, relaxed guys to spend the day with. They knew all of the best spots to place us in to see all the action. Within 2 minutes of having our poles in the water we caught our first fish. During our trip (5 hours, and next time we will book a full day), we caught 11 different kinds of fish, including 2 different sharks and several Puffer Fish! With each catch Andrew and Nathan were hyping us up and making sure our kids were having the best time. They also knew a lot about each fish and took their time explaining it to our children and letting the kids get up close and personal with holding them.They helped capture family photos, laughed with us, and truly gave us an unforgettable experience. After our trip Andrew and Nathan prepared our fish and referred us to a great spot right at the marina that cooked it up for us (Salted Cracker). Coming from a mom that doesn’t like fish…. This was incredible! We got the taco kits with blackened and grilled fish…. Holy smokes… you will not regret it! They also provided lots of icy cold drinks to keep us cool all day. If you do one thing in Clearwater, this should be it. I cannot say enough about this wonderful experience and the joy to brought to our family - core memory for sure!! We booked an 8 hour trip deep sea fishing for 5 through FishingBooker.com. The weather was a bit windy during the week and two days prior to the trip captain Andrew connected with me to let us know the sea would be too rough to go out as far as we had planned for an 8 hour trip and gave us the option of whatever we wanted to do (cancel, reschedule or alter our trip). Andrew recommended we consider a 5 hour trip much closer to shore (7ish miles out) and we decided to go ahead with that.

Andrew and his first mate (and first mate in training who joined) were all super friendly, knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. The boat was fantastic (we were on the newer fishing boat with 2 large outboard engines), super comfortable and capable as a deep sea fishing boat. They were great with my 9 year old and 11 year old and really enjoyed making sure everyone was having a good time.

The results were awesome. We caught grunts, porgies, puffer fish and lizard fish. We ended up keeping 68 fish and fed more than 20 family members fried fish, fish tacos and broiled fish after the trip!!! They cleaned and filleted the fish back at the dock and the bone free fillets were packaged up in our cooler to bring home.

This was one of the funnest things we have ever done! Andrew was fun, knowledgeable and passionate about his job! He made it such a great experience for our family. He was patient with answering 100 questions from our 4 kids! We caught a Bull Shark, two King Mackerel, and a big Tuna, which apparently is super rare to catch! He asked what kind of music we wanted to listen to and had a great playlist with country music playing the whole time! He filleted our fish when we got back to shore. We cooked them up when we got back to our condo and it was the best fish we have ever eaten! Definitely recommend going with Andrew!...
