Katherine is very unprofessional and possesses very low customer service skills. I was in the seasonal isle of this Aldis on 7/11 at 5:59pm (rush hour after work), there was no worker present and the area had boxes on the ground. While I started browsing, Katherine came over to me abruptly from almost behind me and said āmaāam this section is blocked off you need to leaveā. I turned around to say sorry and she proceeded to rudely tell me to leave and wave her arms in a motion like she was brushing me away. Basically shooing me and had a look of disrespect. I said Iām sorry with confusing as to why she was being so rude and walked away. I walked to my boyfriend and asked if he saw that. Walking away from the area I simply said āYou could have been more polite and didnāt have to be so disrespectfulā and I was walking away she proceeded to disrespectfully say something back to me. All I then said was āIf you were working in the area next time I would have knownā. Thatās when she rushed over to me and my boyfriend and said āAs the manager Iām going to have to ask you to leave this store.ā We then asked for another manager. We spoke to Ben who told her to go back to work while he talks to us. While Ben was diffusing the situation Katherine was still trying to intervene from the isle. I understand people do have bad days but that does not give Katherine the right to abuse her managerial authority. I do not feel like the way she acted aligns with Aldis core values and she should revisit basic customer service training.

While we were shopping today a staff member came over to us and said to us in a VERY disrespectful and rude way if our dog was a service dog or not, and we said that he wasn't so he told us that we couldn't have our dog there because they had already let a dog go in and it had made a mess on the floor so we couldn't have him in there and then he told my 11 year old daughter in these exact words "I don't care what it takes or how you are going to get your dog out but I want that dog out of my store before I come back. DO YOU UNDERSTAND." He was saying it like if he was the boss, but even if he was the boss he shouldn't have talked to my daughter like that. I understand that Aldi doesn't allow pets but their are better ways to say things and especially when it is a customer and even more if it's a kid. The cashier, a woman in her 50s with short gray hair, scanned the first 2 items and I was looking at prices on the screen when she suddenly told me, āOne secondā, didnāt scan the bag and left the register. I looked at her surprised and she went to direct people in the line to another register. She even grabbed another womanās shopping cart rudely and moved it to another register. Another cashier appeared and told her he was going to open another register so she started yelling at shoppers to move to another register again. Then spoke to someone with her headset and a teenager came running to open another register. I turned and the lady behind me only had a few items and so the person behind her and all of us were waiting for her to come back. The cashier then started talking to another shopper and on her headset, instead of going back to her register and do her job. I waited more than 15 minutes for her to come back and scan a bag!!!
