HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I arrived for an 11am appointment about 15 mins early and door was closed - totally understandable so, I waited outside until it was 11. There is a flyer on the door that states they have adjusted store hours due to COVID and will actually open at 11:30am. I assumed that it possibly didn’t apply to me since I not only had 1 but TWO confirmation e-mails stating my appointment was was for 11am. I even double checked my email in case I confused myself as I have an extremely hectic schedule and it’s possible but, I was correct - my appt time was indeed for 11am. I left work in order to make it to this appt. and the two ladies inside (one more than the other) just stood inside cleaning off the glass counters. I attempted to call the store at 11:05am to inform them I was outside for an 11am appt and neither of the two ladies even attempted to answer the phone. I then knocked on the door to tell them I was there for my appt and the one blonde older lady said to me that they don’t open until 11:30. I tried explaining to her that I had a confirmed appt for 11am and I left work for this and she rudely pointed at the door and told me to read the sign. I was so disappointed and upset with the customer service here and was taken back by how rude and unaccommodating they both were. I left because I had to be back at work and decided to call Winter Garden location who also has adjusted hours btw but still answer the phone before 11:30! The man who answered at Winter Garden was so kind and helpful. I will rather drive an extra 10mins to a store who is actually willing to help than to one that is closer with bad service. To the lady who was rude in Clermont - I hope you realize how your horrible attitude and lack of compassion will drive customers away from your store. Read moreThe manager of this store Claire is rude, discriminatory and a liar. We purchased a necklace and cross set and that was the last time Kay will ever see a penny from my household. When my husband returned 3 days later with complete jewelry still in the gift box and bag plus receipt he was denied a refund because Claire was being discriminatoryin her application of policies for returns. She forced my husband to show ID and the card he purchased with, which he did and still refused the return because I was not present and my rewards number was used due to my patronage at Jareds some time ago!! Claire lied proven by video once corporate reached out and stated my husbands card did not match the purchasing card which was false! Two other employees Cheryl and an associate that is unknown stood by and allowed the discrimination to take place by their manager because they were too scared to intervene or override their manager despite her wrongdoing. Upon reaching out to corporate and finally the return happened the unknown employee present even confirmed it was the same red card he had the night before but she couldn't say anything. Clearly they believe they work for Claire and not Kay Jewelers and customer experiences don't matter. Never shop here while black! And definitely don't attempt to return while black. There is literally a handful of sales people that are truly in the business of helping you and then there are those that really in business of making you seem incompetent and deranged. But at the end of the day its the Customer's fault for trying to make a purchase in store. I don't know if it's that southern charm or just plain prejudice that enhances the wonderful disinterest or just that people don't want work or be a sales person. I WENT TO THE STORE INITIALLY TO EQUATE THE COSTING AND BUDGET TO MY PURCHASE AND GOT A NUMBER WITH THE HIGHLIGHTED SALE DISCOUNT @ $1027.32 AFTER TAX. I LEFT MY NUMBER LET THEM KNOW THAT I SHALL BE BACK AFTER I DROP MY SON HOME AND GROOM MYSELF UP A BIT. I RETURNED WITH CASH IN POCKET AND POOF! I NOW HAVE A DIFFERENT SALES BODY THAT WANTS TO TELL ME ITS ONLY 1/2 THE ALLOTED DISCOUNT AND TELL ME THE COMPUTER IS SAYING ITS ANOTHER NUMBER.
