Hello everyone. It's 2025 now and I decided to give this Gamestop ANOTHER chance when I bought an OLED Switch for my son a few months ago. Decided to sign up for the Pro Rewards Program since it made the refurbished Switch cheaper than it already was. Here is the drawback though, I've had issues with the pro rewards program in the past and here they are all over again! I told this gentleman before I signed up that I had issues with it and he said, "if we just tie it to your email and number here, it'll all be fine". So I told them to go ahead and do the pro rewards. Come to find out months later, I try to log onto my gamestop account and what do you know? It says I'm NOT EVEN A PRO MEMBER.
Everytime I call I can't get someone on the phone. Been several days in a row I've called and still nothing. Can't recommend this gamestop or ANY gamestop for that matter. The whole company is going downhill.
They can't even honor their own online rewards program. I have $20.00 online credit with them but their website keeps telling me I have, "no qualifying items in my cart". Checked the fine print under my coupons and the exclusions read as so "Cannot be used on GameStop gift cards, 3rd party gift cards, select downloadable content, Pro membership, or reservations. Other exclusions may apply."
Considering my product does not fall under any of the exclusion stipulations, this is very angering. Will avoid Gamestop shopping...

Walked in to ask about the Tears of The Kingdom pro controller, was told both it and the limited OLED exclusive console were âdiscontinuedâ and were never going to be restocked anywhere. Ended up finding it restocked at my local Wally World on top of MANY restock websites showing that new shipments were coming in. On top of that, some woman named Marie or Marcia or something like that practically snapped at me over the phone when I asked about the same controller being in stock. She told me âno we donât know whatâs in the boxes until itâs opened what else do you want!?â. Told the workers in store and they seemed to act âshockedâ by the behavior too. Bought a wireless switch controller that day since I thought the limited one was âgone foreverâ due to the employee telling me that it basically was, then immediately returned it right after due to how I felt like I was treated. Dan was rude from the start listening to his ear buds with no interest in answering questions, it felt like he didn't want me in the store even though I was the only customer there at noon on a Saturday. After asking if he could help with a list of the games on 40% discount per the advertisement Dan told me he didn't have it and if I wanted information to scan a qr code.
Once I scanned the QR code...I came to find out my first initial question about the buy 2 used get 1 free was still true even though he told me that was no longer a sale, after up selling me two new games they had in used inventory.
I thought the whole point of coming to the store was for help and friendliness of staff, this was not the case and I will be considering a new location or just buying...
