If you like Asian Buffets, this is a great choice. We were there around 11:30. It got fairly full pretty quickly, as with most new restaurants going into the lunch hour. Service was efficient and polite. Atmosphere in line with most buffets. This one, however, is in a building that was formerly Red Lobster...and it's very obvious in the seating area. Ultimately the decor, it's very eclectic. The place is clean and it's obvious they put a lot of care into ensuring the fixtures were well maintained in the transition from its previous operation. Since most people don't go to a buffet for ambiance, suffice it to say that it is what it is. I will put out a word of caution to anyone of ample proportions (plus size), all seating is in booths and there is very little space between the back of the seat and the table. The tables and seats are stationary. They do not move. All are the same. Sitting to eat was very painful for me as my ribs were pressed against the table. There were a few large people who looked very uncomfortable with sections of their bodies wrapped above and below the table. This is the one and only thing that will stop me from going back. The food was very fresh and flavorful. The buffet area was well maintained and very clean. Some foods were not labeled, but the staff was quick to answer questions. About 1/4 of the hot food selection was moderately spicy which made for a nice variety. The chili shrimp was unbelievable, the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. They had the best sweet and sour pork I've ever had. It seemed freshly battered and slightly seasoned unlike most sweet and sour choices. I loved it. Sushi was standard fare with a nice variety. Salad bar I didn't use, but it looked good. I wouldn't go just for salad alone, especially if you're feeling creative. The soup, steamed dumplings and cold selections were also standard for Asian Buffets. They had ice cream and basic deserts, most looked like they came in frozen. If you want something sweet to end your meal, go over to the hot food. There is an item labeled beef buns. It's not beef. It is incredible. It's a flaky pastry shell with a warm very sweet filling. I've never had anything like it. I'd go back just for this. Overall, I very much recommend going there to eat. There's something for everyone. If it weren't for the seating it would be on the top of my list for a return visit.

New Chinese buffet named Good Town, opened yesterday in Clermont. We went for lunch today. The space used to house a Red Lobster and they did a great job revamping it with a very Chinese look. That said, there are semblances of the former occupant around, like they had left the sconces to the booths that Red Lobster used to have; they left a partition to the dining area that seemed incongruous to the rest of the decor (that was part of Red Lobster) and they left the wooden almost life-sized fisherman statue there! Go figure. Food wise, I was impressed with the sushi/sashimi section and might rival or even outshine my fav Chinese buffet Crazy Buffet. They also had two cold dishes that were undeniably Chinese: marinated chicken feet (I can’t bring myself to eat them, stemming from my childhood. Long story) and marinated tripe which was tasty but a tad too salty. There was a three steamer station serving lotus leaf wrapped Hor Yip Farn/Lor Mai Kai (savory glutinous rice inside), Nai Wong bao (Chinese custard buns) and Sao bao (Chinese longevity peaxh shaped buns with red bean filling) and all three weren’t bad. The rest was ok, not great and they do not have a hibachi station! The cost of today’s lunch per person (drinks other than water, was extra) was $20.99 and that’s the price all weekend and for dinners on weeknights. Lunch on weekdays is $14.99 and I’m interested in coming back to see how it looks. We asked if they had a senior discount and they did and that took $2.50 off our bill/per person.

Wow. I really hate leaving bad reviews but this one really just wasn’t good. I’m not a huge fan of buffets to begin with so maybe I’m a bit biased here but everything on the buffet that I tried was just very mediocre or not good at all. There is a lot to choose from but it’s kind of an odd assortment of options from French fries to frog legs to watermelon. Wontons, egg rolls, chicken wings, breaded scallops, different types of soups, sushi, you name it. The sushi was decent but nothing to get excited about and really after the dinner, later in the evening, I didn’t feel so great. I was given some decent praise about this place but it fell short for me. Even my 18 year old son didn’t wanna continue after two fairly small plates of food. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Was hoping based on the reviews it would be a good buffet but upon entering and grabbing plates the food selection was abysmal. Most buffets have a huge selection of food and multiple rows of serving tables, this one did not. There's only a singular horseshoe serving area with a few smaller serving areas sprinkled around with small stuff like desserts or dipping sauces. The entree selection even being limited, already put them at a disadvantage but honestly the worst part was the taste of the food. Each dish i tried was super off putting and either extra salty or ridiculously gelatinous or just weird tasting and didnt taste anything like it was supposed to. The servers didnt really stay on top of refills at all and the one time I was asked to refill was right before we left and were done eating even though my cup sat empty for about 10mins and our server constantly passed our table about 20 or so times. And I get the pay at the end might get most people confused but as we collected our things with money in hand to put down we were getting hounded by multiple servers as if we were gonna dine and dash. It would be one thing if we were told once or twice but we were told about 8x in like less then two minutes by 3 servers as we literally had cash in hand and were about to put it down. Overall I try and lift most places up and not put places down even when they aren't the best, but with this place I couldn't help but feel like I was robbed and cheated at...
