Only hire this company if you actually want to hire Venzil Granite. The owner, Jorge (often referred to as George), does not mention that he has no employees of his own and that he will not be responsible for any of the work at all when giving you a quote and mentioning his years of experience. Our job was so terribly and unprofessionally installed that small claims court removed $1100 from our total amount owed. In my opinion, the amount paid was still too much for the poor quality of work received. Overhang variances of over an inch, countertops that did not even fully cover my wood cabinetry, damage to my existing tile, short slabs and crooked cuts, completely off-center sink installations, and a huge mess left behind by the installers. I immediately asked for the poor work to be fixed (before the job was even finished) and I was told there wasn't even enough granite left for a backsplash piece - clearly they purchased a lot too small for the job trying to cut more corners, no pun intended. They instead tried to use more caulk to "fix" everything. I asked for the granite to be removed and to have a new lot installed that would be the right amount and was denied. I did not hire The Gallery of Stone as a middle man and I never would have hired Venzil Granite if I had been informed at all, especially not for the professional price quoted for unprofessionals, some who didn't even look 18 years old. Gallery of Stone installed our granite counter tops on 4/6/2017 and subbed (SPF Handyman) to install our the backsplash. The fit and finish on counter tops is excellent. I couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of work from Nicholas, Thomas and Harbart. (SPF. Handyman) Fabin and Andy stayed late to finish backsplash, their workmanship and attention to detail was very impressive. George, who helped is pick out the right granite and answered all of our questions was with us every step of the way and was great to do business with. Unreliable after several delays they finished my countertop at 2 am. The next week I discovered they broke my cooktop. When I spoke to Jorge about it he claimed he let his insurance lapse and "anything could have cracked my cooktop" so he refused to reimburse me. I bought a new cooktop and discovered gallery of stone had cut the hole too small and forced old cooktop in.
