Every visit to Yummy Bowl has been nothing short of phenomenal, and much of that is due to one exceptional individual — Robin. It’s rare to find someone who not only provides outstanding customer service but also leaves a lasting impression that genuinely enhances your entire dining experience. Simply put, this place wouldn’t be the same without her.
From the moment we walk through the door, Robin greets us with a warm smile and an enthusiastic welcome that makes us feel like family. She remembers us by name, knows our usual orders, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure we have everything we need. It’s this level of personal attention and care that sets Yummy Bowl apart from other establishments. Robin’s presence has become a cornerstone of our visits, and we always request to be seated in her section because we know the service will be impeccable.
Her professionalism is matched by her deep knowledge of the menu. She’s always ready with thoughtful recommendations, especially when we’re in the mood to try something new. While I often find myself ordering more than I originally intended (thanks to her suggestions), every single dish she has recommended has been delicious and well worth it. One of our all-time favorites is the Korean Fried Chicken — perfectly crispy, flavorful, and a must-try for anyone visiting Yummy Bowl for the first time.
The atmosphere of the restaurant complements the service beautifully. The music is tasteful and at just the right volume to allow for easy conversation without ever being intrusive. The dining area is clean, inviting, and well-maintained, creating an ambiance that’s both relaxing and vibrant.
Additionally, I want to highlight the hospitality of the manager at the lobby desk. They are always courteous, professional, and welcoming, helping to maintain a high standard of service throughout the entire restaurant. It’s clear that the team here works cohesively, and the commitment to customer satisfaction runs deep in the culture of the establishment.
In an industry where good service can sometimes feel like a bonus rather than the standard, Robin and the Yummy Bowl team continue to raise the bar. Her consistency, dedication, and passion for what she does are evident in every interaction. I sincerely hope management recognizes the incredible asset they have in her — and in the entire front-of-house staff — because it’s individuals like Robin who turn first-time diners into loyal, returning customers.
In closing, Yummy Bowl is more than just a place to eat — it’s a place where great food meets truly exceptional service. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and I sincerely hope that Robin and the current team remain for many years to come. They are the heart and soul of this establishment, and they make every visit feel like...
Read moreThere is effectively nothing special about this concept. The AYCE hibachi table is found at any Chinese Buffets restaurant in Columbia. Furthermore, the service is disorganized and frankly rude. I was ignored for half of the stay only to find out that the server that started my table went to another section and we were ignored for a majority of our stay until another server stepped in near the end.
The seasoning selection were disappointing. The whole concept of creating your own flavor only works in sauces, not the flavor of the bowl itself. This chain is just hopping on the lazy trend wagon of Mongolian bbq, which again is just a copy of what already exists at a Chinese Buffet. The "Korean Fried Chicken" was also just regular chicken wings you can find at a Chinese restaurant and the sauce taste chemically. The only thing that was fine was the sushi which portions may be semi-generous cause of Grand Opening.
The ambiance was fine - though it could appear as tacky to some. It doesn't seem like it was purposefully done as they tried to create a "elegant" dining vibe, but also have a industrial circular hibachi table encased by plexiglass with tape sloppily applied to hold it all together. Its like if you ignored half the restaurant, it seems nice, but you turn around and its just eyesore.
Overall - another miss by this shopping center. We've had burning 99 close a year after they opened and it might be the same story for Yummy Bowl. I wish we had something interesting come in - not just the same old concepts. Hopefully the Southern B Mac thats opening next door is not as...
Read moreI stopped in on Saturday I couldn't eat in I had just came from an appointment and needed to head home. I was in the Sola Salon and it smelled so good I was like I have to go there.
When I arrived the cashier was very friendly, nice and once I placed my order another employee walked with me to the bowl bar and she took her time explaining everything to me.
I ordered 2 meals because I was being greedy 😆 I ordered the chicken tenders. I hate that I didn't take pictures of the food I ate it so quickly lol. I ordered the small spicy garlic I will say that I was surprised that it was just dipping sauce my strips were plain. It was delicious.
The next ordered I created a bowl. OMG this was so good. I picked my carb, vegetable, protein and sauce. I loved the sauce bar because they had little spoons that you could do a taste test with to pick your preferred flavor. I watched the gentleman cook my food and it was super quick.
This is definitely going to be one of my new favorite spots to grab something to eat at.
I know it's new but the place was very big was very clean and the service was impeccable. If your in the area try it out I know you...
