ATG Escape Rooms — Local services in Concord

Did 2 rooms there, the vault and the holding cell. I thought there website/trailer gave us false hope about how the room would turn out. The trailer/website seemed so cool, and I wasn't that impressed with the rooms itself.

I didn't think it was that immersive tbh. Some places that I go to, it seems like I'm in that world if yk what I mean? -- When I did holding cell, I felt like it could have used more décor, to make it feel more immersive. It seemed like I was in a bedroom, with a variety of props. This room is all technology puzzles and only one traditional lock, because that technology puzzle was busted. Felt like there could have been a bigger variety. There was also a screen that displayed your time, what bugged me was the fact that you could see all the wires and electrical things for that.

The vault. This room had lots of traditional locks, like 3 traditional locks on one door. They could have added more technology puzzles. This theme had 2 rooms. Also, not very immersive. It didn't give me the sense of urgency that other escape rooms do. The decorations kind of lacked.

Feedback: They should add music to their rooms to make it more immersive, not very pricey to add either. Add more decorations to both rooms. Bigger the variety of puzzles in each room (balance...

This review is a bit over due. I was looking for something engaging and memorable for my daughter's birthday with her friends. They were in fifth, and going to all different middle schools. I was worried about the set up and not really knowing what to really expect, this was my first time experience with an escape room. Larry had been wonderful in laying out everything that was included in the party, and how the whole process would work. Our host was amazing (I wish I could remember her name because she really does deserve the recognition). The set up was amazing with a singing machine, photo booth, and games! Held my daughter's birthday party and it was beyond what we imagined! Reservation was done online and the owner was very easy to talk to and would reply immediately to my questions. The party place was spacious and clean with lots of activities to do before and after the escape room (arcade games, board games, karaoke, photo booth). We even had access to a kitchen to help with setting up the food (we could bring in whatever food and drinks we wanted so that was another plus in my book).

Most of the guests were first timers doing escape room but they had an amazing time! The staff wasn't in the room with them but could view them from the CCTV so tips were given to help them out when they were stumped, making the kids less frustrated and very happy when they were able to break out.
