I am absolutely appalled and disappointed in this place. We just got home after having my son's 4th birthday here. There was literally not a thing more they could have done to make this night worse. Our party was supposed to be from 4-6pm. We got there at 3:45pm like we were supposed to and they didn't even know which table would be ours. They didn't have a dedicated hosting for us, but we had to share with other parties for a host. They didn't even have a table ready till nearly 5pm. I had ordered the food with our host around 4:15pm and we were not served any food till almost 5:40pm. We only got two pizzas at this time even though I'd ordered 4. Took another 15-20mins for the adult pizzas. They had to keep asking me what my son's name was because the hosts were switching. One of them had to nerve to tell me that the party would still run smoothly and that we'd still get out on time because she wanted to leave for home right after the party. I'm sorry, but I'm paying for two hours, so I'd like my two hours. The bathrooms weren't even use able. Even single stall was absolutely filthy. (I have pics of every single one if upper management would like to see the deplorable condition this place is in.) The party stage was littered with supplies and looked terrible. It was 6:30pm before they even asked my son to do the ticket blaster. He didn't get a cape like the other four parties because they ran out... so my son who was talking about being a super hero at this place all week got a 'medallion' instead. They never gave us any silverware for cake and we had to rummage through the boxes on the front stage for forks for the cake and salad bars. They never even brought the cups for the adults at the party and we all had to share with the kids. After all this I spoke to the manager several times and she refused to even discount the party because she was allowing us to stay as long as we wanted... like we wanted to be there was long as we were because of that service. The 'hostess' that wanted to get out on time so badly only gave me a $4 discount because that's all she could do and she couldn't find a manager. We paid $200 for some of the worst service I've ever had and I honestly don't even think that should have been paid. I'm so livid beyond belief. My son's birthday was absolutely ruined. The stress free night of doing his party at this establishment was anything but.

Chuck E Cheese seems the same in every city to me. I always liked how they stamp a number on child and adult when you enter and they check to make sure your numbers match when you exit. This place was clean and games were all in working condition. Both my granddaughter and my grandson loves this place. They do have birthday parties where you get special time with Chuck E Cheese himself. Everytime I have been there Chuck E Cheese did appear and mingled with the kids. The food is not very good. The cheesey bread was the only thing I had that was good. They did have beer and wine for the adults at most Chuck E Cheese locations I have been to. The employees are just doing thier job and don't seem thrilled to be there. I am sure if you have older kids the cost would be more expensive but with small kids it only cost about $10 for a couole of hours of arcade game playing. The arcade games payout tickets. The better you play the more tickets you win. To redeem the tickets the prizes seem pretty worthless. I have been places where the prize you wanted was 50 tickets and you have 45 and they give you it anyway-not this place. You do need to walk around with the small kids- you can not see all the areas from the tables.
DCDC
Trampoline area (there are 3 trampoline squares inside): - $15 with any game purchase or $25 without a game purchase. Your child(ren) will get a wrist band and a pair of non-slip socks (they're required in order to jump). - unlimited jump time - must be UNDER 52"..... this is NOT posted on their menu/pricing sign (above the registers). We found out about the height requirements after we paid and went to the trampoline area (which was locked most of the time). Their staff was not informing the customers of this rule either, so they ended up having to refund people because their kid was over 52". I know the trampoline area is new, but they need better signage at the registers for the height requirements. And also, a sign at the trampoline area on when they are going to unlock it (since it was locked most of the time) because it seems like they were just randomly opening it up whenever they felt like it, then closing it up. Maybe a sign that says "we will open at x:xxpm for our next xx minute jump session" or something like that! When we first got there we asked the staff could they open it, they would say "I don't know where the key is" or "hold on" and pretty much ignored you after.

I have the Gold passes for my children. I currently go between the Concord, Linoleum, and Brentwood locations. Out of all locations Concord is by far the least favorite. The amount of games are inadequate compared to the other two locations.

Broken Machines:Every time we come to Concord, there are several games always broken. We would come back to he concord location after a week hoping they would be fixed, and they were still broken. My children uses points and would not be compensated back due to the amount of points being stolen from several broken games. It's is entirely unfair.

Bonus Points In Games: Never have I seen such a low balling Chuck E. Cheese. Bonus points for th a Brentwood/Pinole locations all have Bonus points for each game as 100 points or more. Concord has most of there games at 25/30/50 bonus points. It feels very disingenuous compared to the other locations and is also unfair. I am not being given the opportunity to get enough tickets at this location to win prizes from my kids at all compared to the other locations. It's very cheap and feels like a scam.

Chuck E.- Everytime Chuck E Cheese comes out, it feels as though he hates his or her job. No energy, will quickly do 1 lap and disappear. It's not okay. Chuck E Cheese is and EXPERIENCE. If you don't want to go to work, find another job. Don't waste my money and make my child feel miserable because you are. Once again the other locations are upbeat, happy, and make an effort to interact with kids.

Food- Is okay. The wait time is long and sometimes the pizza is over cooked.

Prizes- The wait time for an attendant to show up and proceed with our purchases is less than adequate. Kids are impatient and staff seems nonchalant.

Staff- The front greeter are nice and welcoming. Everyone else are not. Mostly ignores you and waits for the one person in the front to help you rather than themselves. I always see one worker doing most of the work. I will say I like how they clean at night. Glad to see some sanitation, nor as thorough as Brentwood though.

Types of games: This location really needs to tighten up on the bigger kid side. The games are not fun as much as the other locations and some are constantly broken and needs to be replaced. Upgrade that side. The kiddie area is the main I need focus, but it could have more options as well.

Please I improve...

I had my daughter’s first birthday party here. First I want to start off on how dissatisfied and disappointed I am with the service and overall experience. I reserved my party from 3-5 pm & I asked the workers how early i could come to set up they told me 2:45 which is the time I came in to set up , but the other party right next to me had to same party time but they were setting up around 2:20 pm because I was watching them setup & wondering why I couldn’t set up early as well since my table was ready also . Which i think is unfair because why should another party get 30 plus minutes to set up and i only got 15? Also i reserved my party 2 months before hand and i had a bigger party 15 kids and about 30 adults . They told me they were not going to be able to have the food ready within the 2 hour time frame of my party ? I ordered originally 14 pizzas and 4 kids pizzas as well as some appetizers. I ended up only ordering 6 pizzas because they said they could only get ONE out at a time . How am i coming to a party where i can’t bring my own food and you bring out the pizzas one by one so not everyone could eat together and by the time we got our food it was 4:40pm and my party was over in 20 min. On top of that they forgot 2 pizzas that i had to get refunded for . Also they did the birthday show at 4:45 and by then i couldn’t even open the presents for everyone to see. I spent a lot of money on this party and didn’t even get anything out of it really . None of the kids could eat together nor adults, my pizzas were forgotten , they couldn’t accommodate or do anything . On top of that the manager was very rude and just simply didn’t care that the food wasn’t gonna be ready . I didn’t even get the party hats that came for the kids that came included with my party . And also it would be nice if i spent 1000 dollar plus & they couldn’t let me know i can redeem points for future visits , a business like that should be doing these things to help customers . It’s a point for every dollar ? I could’ve made plenty of visits after . I’m overall disappointed with this experience & really sad because it was my daughters 1st birthday and i couldn’t even count on the business to make sure their end was good, I could’ve just brought my own food...
