Juicy Hibachi & Yakitori — Restaurant in Conyers

I ordered a plain noodle with chicken, and a hibachi chicken with veggies and steamed rice. The plain noodle with chicken was delicious, but the hibachi chicken was overcooked, hard, and dry. I normally order the hibachi chicken, and until yesterday, it has always been fresh and tender. Therefore, I call the restaurant to speak with management because I thought they took pride in their dishes. I expected a simple resolution to just remake the dish. Instead, I encountered an associate who acknowledged she remembered my order, but then tried to state that the chicken wasn't overcooked, that it was the sauce. This lead me to believe that she saw the chicken was overcooked before serving it. This further infuriated me because I told her that I've ordered that dish numerous times, and never had a problem with it. Therefore, I asked to speak with the manager, and she stated he wasn't there. Next, I requested that he return my phone call, and asked for his name which she refused to give. After hanging up, she immediately called me back and asked when can I come back to pick up the remake. I told her that I will wait to speak with the owner because I should not have received overcooked chicken, and moreso, dealt with a combative employee after spending my money. I called back today, and she said the owner was in, but now he doesn't speak good English, and she would take the call. Lastly, I told her that I would leave a review, since I was unable to resolve this issue...

Went back to Juicy Hibachi and Yakitori

Today I tried the Haru Maki (veg egg roll) and Curry Chicken.

The egg rolls were good, nice and crispy exterior, with a tasty filling. The filling is more shredded than typical Chinese egg rolls. The Sweet Chili sauce was just that sweet with little to no heat.

They Curry Chicken was outstanding! Japanese curry is a bit different that Indian. It has the consistency of a thin gravy, but like Indian curry is full of flavor. And Juicy Hibachi’s curry is just that, full flavored and quite delicious. I am not ashamed to say my fat self used my finger to get up the leftover curry.

I got to say, my biggest complaint is that they don’t have ice water available, you have to buy a bottle of water, and $1.50 for a single can of soda is outrageous.

Either way, Juicy Hibachi & Yakitori is definitely a spot you should try.

BTW, Yakitori is grilled skewers of meat, I haven’t...

Order to go here on Sat Nov9th I wasn't disappointed. The young lady at the counter customer service was exceptional she didn't get upset at my taking time to look over menu and help to navigate my choices. I got the elote , hibachi special, pork belly skewers and chicken skewer. With tax my order came to 34 dollars. The pork belly skewer was my favorite thing if you eat pork definitely try them . Everything was well seasoned alot of hibachi don't season the actual meat and vegetables just coat it in the sauce theirs was seasoned , the rice was ok now that is why I went 4 star over 5 . While the proteins were seasoned the rice was bland but wasn't flavorful either like mid range just ok .
