Customer service is pretty bad at this store. Due to the amount of prints I needed, I thought itād be better to place the order in store. I told the clerk I would like to create some gift card holdersā¦. Indicating that what Iām printing would be big enough to have the gift card on the paper in the center. I showed examples that said āinsert gift card hereā just for an understanding of what i wanted. She advised me that a 4x6 would be big enough. I showed her the design and she told me she would trim the white around the edges to clean it up. I went to pick up my order a few days later and was given something smaller than 4x6 with the white edges included. It looked i presentable. Iām not the smartest person in the world but the fact that the width of the print was basically the size of the gift card, it was a clear indicator that it was not printed 4x6. I informed the different woman i met on this day that this was not 4x6 and she insisted that it was. Itās clear that a regular sized gift card wouldnāt take up the entire card that was supposed to be 4x6⦠since what I was shown was allegedly a 4x6, I requested to get the job reprinted in the next size up, 5x7⦠i was then informed that they didnāt have enough white paper to complete the job. I asked for a refund, received the refund and left. Despite all of this, Annette was very professional and kind once I was finally assisted. But overall they need to hire more people or train theirs better because I was standing idle with about 5 others for 15 minutes before I was assisted. I called the store to see when my order would be ready for pick up only to be told that they were busy and they did not know when it would be ready. I waited until the next day 10/16/21 and called again to be told that the person that handles the printing was sick right now. I asked when my order would be ready as it was already passed the day and time I was initially confirmed. I was then told that it would be ready by 1 or 2p and that I would get a call when it was ready to be picked up. Needless to say I did not receive a call...I went to the store to pick up my order at about 3p and my order was still not ready. I was then told that the folding machine was not working. I had already missed my deadline that I needed so I told the person to give me what they had printed. I had to fold my brochures myself which looked completely unprofessional. I paid to have a full service print and fold for my brochures and did not receive the service I paid for. I finally received a text message on Sunday 10/17/21 stating that my order was ready for p/u. after I have already picked up the order the previous day.
This has been the worst experience I have received from Office Depot. I received nothing but excuses and incomplete service for a small printing job that should have been ready on time. Oh not to mention, when I came to the store there were 3 young ladies in the print area standing around doing absolutely nothing. I guess that is why my order was not fulfilled. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI want to express my sincere appreciation to the store manager, Mr. Rudkin and also to one of the team members, Logan. I purchased a portable printer for my wife as a Christmas gift. Logan gave me excellent service and the product was ordered and was to be shipped to my home. Unfortunately I learned the item was out of stock and I never received the printer. I called Customer NO SERVICE and got absolutely NOWHERE in trying to get a credit back to my bank account! I went into the Conyers store on serveral occasions requesting help with the corporate Customer NO SERVICE. I was told that they could not reimburse me from the store due to corporate policy and it being an online purchase, although they took my money at the store. Logan and Mr. Rudkin were patient, courteous , and went to work on my behalf. I am happy to report that the funds were returned to my bank account this week thanks to the hard work of this store manager! I have two business accounts with Office Depot and I will from now on only shop at the Conyers store where I have received service above and beyond the call of duty! I will also say, in the event that the corporate folks care enough to read reviews, that their Customer NO SERVICE department needs to be fixed!
