I Can not say enough nice things about a young lady named Sam employed in the Corvallis store, this morning I was waiting outside before they opened, barely holding back my grief and frustration. Grief because my lamb is currently dieing, frustrated because yesterday when it began I hurried to Coastal farms in Albany where I had always gotten medicine fir my farm animals, granted, I haven't had a animal in several years, making this lamb even more special to me . I arrived 20 minutes before closing and asked for help as I entered, I asked for penicillin and tetracycline, I was told they didn't have any so then I asked to see the antibiotics they have , and I told the helper , I was in such a hurry I forgot my reading glasses and desperately needed her help , as my lamb is sick , I looked at the la2000 and she I think I have used this for shipping fever but I might have only used in on calfs . Could she read it for me , she said nope only cows and pigs , I asked a couple times if I could keep looking as she was wanting to leave for closing, I went home empty handed, confused about thinking, that I could have gotten something, I know better, this morning my lamb could no longer stand and like I said I was waiting at the front door of corvallis store. I ask for help and 2 people came immediately both willing, as I tried to say what was happening, I broke down , immediately Sam hugged me and reassuring me she was gonna try to help . I asked for penicillin or tetracycline and she said they quit selling it publicly, ans next I said there has to be something and she grabbed the la2000 and said yes thus is for sheep , pigs and cows , goats , I was horrified knowing I could have gotten this last night in Albany if someone like Sam would have been there , but Having her help this morning saved my lamb life, her fever just broke !! And she looking better, she's still weak but if I need, I have Everything to now tube feed her and the lifesaving antibiotics I was begging for the night prior. She also was understanding that I love this lamb and was truly hurting, she made that better to with her compassion, this woman is exactly what Costal farms stand for . I Experienced the best service ever from this location with buying a firearm. The night before, I asked to hold a firearm since they have a 10% sale on red tags. Sales associate kaylyn was able to hold the firearm in the back for me. Couple of hours later I called to see when is the deadline for buying a firearm before closing. Tim the "gun guy" answered and told me the deadline was at 8. I was trying to explain that I could be able to come in at 8pm to purchase the firearm and I didnt want to miss out on the sale. He was absolutely rude and hung up the phone before I could ask any questions and see about working around this "deadline" to buy. This isnt the first time ive dealt with the gun guy being absolutely rude. (Yet, hes still very knowledgeable person for guns.) The next day right at opening, sales associate kaylyn and store manager Des did amazing job by honoring the discount and holding the firearm for me. Thank you both for letting me have a great experience buying my dream gun. 5 out of 5 stars to Des and Kaylyn for this. I will continue to shop at my favorite coastal store. Went in for the "Saturday super sale" they had a Taurus G series 9mm on sale. I understand they have limited numbers I was in line 10 minutes after open. They counted the number they have and then handed out numbered little pieces of paper I had #11 which is all they handed out. I waited nearly two hours and a couple of people left so they gave their number to people behind me. Once they got to the customer two ahead of me they told him they no longer had the sale version they only had the $60 more expensive stainless slide version. Being that they counted the firearms and handed out pieces of paper within20 minutes of opening I assumed I would be getting the sale firearm.... They were quietly doing this upsell basically bait and switch shady maneuver. In the end I stood in line with this fake guarantee for almost two hours. I missed extra work time and walked out of your store with nothing but someone telling me they will have 25 more coming in on a truck from Albany sometime today and I could "call back". Total...
