I started coming here over a year ago and LOVED my nails every time I went, especially when Tom did them. Unfortunately, a lot has changed in a year because I went to do my nails today and had a terrible experience. I noticed that a lot of these nail salons are increasing their prices but the quality of service is seriously declining.
When Tom did my nails before Valentine’s Day, I was excited that he could squeeze me in last minute but was disappointed in the quality. It was rushed, therefore, it did not look good but I said whatever. It was a last minute appointment after all. For today, I made an appointment ahead of time and I noticed that there are 2 new nail techs. I unfortunately got assigned the one at table 9 who said he could do the design I asked for, which was a lie. He didn’t even file my nails evenly even though I kept asking him to fix them. Then, he switched with the guy sitting next to him because he didn’t know how to do the design I asked for. Except, the guy next to him couldn’t do it either and I sat for 30 min straight watching both of them struggle to do a basic Taurus bull symbol.
I would’ve appreciated the nail techs being honest by telling me they couldn’t do my design because these were supposed to be my birthday nails and I left highly disappointed. When I expressed my frustration with Tom, he said that I should show him my design beforehand so that the right nail tech could be assigned to me, however, I don’t think any of them know how to do intricate designs so I hope the owners take that more seriously especially since the nail tech also cut me twice. I won’t be coming back here for that reason alone because I expect every nail tech to be careful when managing sharp tools near customers’ skin. It’s VERY dangerous & unsanitary to be that careless so make sure you’re watching them file your nails if you have acrylic like me. Now I have to put bandages on my fingers to quickly heal the sores so that I can go to a different salon to fix my nails because I refuse to celebrate my bday with ugly nails.
You’re better off trying a different salon in the area that is 1) consistent and 2) won’t charge you a bunch of money for you to leave unhappy (yes they still charged me an extra $10 for the design those nail techs...
Read moreNeve nails always goes a great job on my dip nails and gel pedicures. They have a great selection of 3 in one colors. The salon is clean and beautiful. 11/13/25 update. I would never give this salon less than 5 stars as the employees are amazing. Tran does perfect dip nails. Emily and Tom are great at nail art. Kim and Jenny are amazing at manicures and pedicures. However, it’s sad that they recently changed the management. I used to switch salons in the area often but this salon was unique so I’ve stayed here for several years. I loved seeing the 2 well behaved hypoallergenic dogs that visited the salon but now they are no longer allowed to visit the shop . I also loved the gorgeous seasonal decor that Emily setup. The salon used to value returning customers with discounts but prices have definitely gone up under new management despite my loyalty card membership. Instead they have a loud “manager” that sits around talking on the phone unprofessionally all day who occasional answers the phone when she’s not on it, she schedules (and communicates poorly, and doesn’t even check customers out. I’ll stay because I love the staff and the quality of their work but I truly miss the former Neve...
Read moreI am new to the area and haven’t had a real manicure in almost two years. I was happy to find such a nice clean salon. I had gone to two others just an hr before and had bad luck.
I did just a basic manicure and pedicure with regular polish. I was asked if my heels wanted to be done and I said yes of course. My pedicure was okay. Then my manicure came. My nails weren’t trimmed or filed, they weren’t cleaned or anything. Just smoothed and painted.
Go to pay and for $80, this was not worth it. I was charged extra for the heels which apparently was a treatment and extra. This I was not told. I know there can be a little of a language barrier sometimes but if something is going to be extra than what the customer asks for, it needs to be said.
I took my polish off the other day and I have complete marks on my nails from where the polish was. Almost like I had acrylics on, which I didn’t. My nails are now soft that the top of my nails are peeling and they’re breaking a lot easier.
I will not be back and feel it was a complete...
