Found two threshold candles that I wanted to buy that were on a shelf with a single merchandising price of “threshold candles original $15 now $10.50”. They rung up at full price in self checkout so I went to customer service and explained. They looked up the price on their handheld device and restated they were in fact full price, to which I said I understood they were ringing in as that but were then clearly mismerchandised on the floor and if they could resolve that by relocating their other stock of items still on the floor and honoring the mismarked price for me. They sent someone else out to validate my claim that they’d been mismerchandised - telling them “allegedly these candles were put on a clearance rack,” insinuating I had put them there myself to get the deal. I waited around another 10min. for the second person to come back and tell me he didn’t find any candles like mine on sale. I asked if I could show him, to which he replied he’d checked all of the candle areas and bump outs - refusing to let me show him. I returned the candles feeling disrespected and essentially written off as a an attempted thief. I went back to the candle section and asked a different employee to get me a manager. I waited another 5/10 min before that employee told me all the managers were in a meeting and he was having trouble getting one to come over. I explained my issue to him and asked if he’d be able to relocate the mismerchandised items to avoid a similar situation later and left the store feeling awful. Read moreI have concerns about the ongoing issues at this store. It appears that the situation is not improving, and I'm starting to wonder if my hopes for better experiences here are somewhat wishful. The overall environment in this store seems to be deteriorating.
On my recent visit, my primary goal was to complete my shopping quickly and efficiently, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Instead, I encountered a series of concerning events. While navigating through the store, I observed instances where teenagers openly and brazenly shoplifted in close proximity to your electronics podium. This certainly wasn't the shopping experience I had hoped for.
Additionally, I was surprised to witness the "asset protection agent" engaging in personal interactions and appearing to flirt with the "cashier overseer" instead of attending to their security duties. This raises concerns about the store's commitment to security and professionalism.
The use of self-checkout systems continues to rise in retail, and situations like this may inadvertently contribute to the automation of certain tasks. I genuinely believe that it's in the best interest of this establishment to address these issues promptly and maintain a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and safety.
I sincerely hope that this store can overcome these challenges and improve its overall operation. It's in everyone's best interest, and I look forward to seeing positive changes...
Read moreRecently relocated and it was my first visit to this target today.
I asked two employees to help me locate an item and they were unhelpful. I also asked someone in the pharmacy for help and they were not professional and clearly don't know what they are doing (not like the pharmacy in Walgreen's who will tell you where the item is located and if any replacement would be fine)
I then placed an order pickup so that I don't have to walk around and look for that item. The email says pickup order will be ready within two hours. After waiting for an hour, I went to the order pickup place and asked if my order is ready. The employee was super rude and asked me to wait in a "whatever I don't care" manner.
While waiting for my order, I walked around this store, was hoping to buy some veggies or fruits, maybe some eggs, but unfortunately, this store only has frozne stuff. I guess its not a "super target"
My order was finally ready in about two hours and I went to the order pickup place again. This time there were two employees pushing me between them. A guy was saying, "wait a moment, she will help you", but that lady walked away and was never back. After another 20 minutes waiting, that guy finally helped me with my pickup order.
