We Ordered 2 Beers,2 chicken Ramen, pork gyoza & vegetarian gyoza.. the inside of the gyoza was fridge cold and warm outside, you can tell it wasn’t steamed it was microwave..the waitress tried to touch the food on the table with her bare hands, before she took it back into the kitchen but never apologized for it.( NO CUSTOMER SERVICE MANNER)
Ramen was HORRIBLE! The broth had a very strong after taste & a bad smell, the chicken taste old, very dry & rubbery ( I WONT EVEN FEED THAT TO MY DOG)
we politely spoke to the owner on the side because we didn’t want to creat a scene,we ask to cancel the order & we will pay for the beers which is the only thing we had.
in a very rude and nasty attitude he said that he can’t do that because we ordered the food so we have to pay for it wether we eat it or not! the best he can do is give us a 20% discount. I told him sir I don’t want a discount because we are not eating the food. He was very stubborn..
I went to the register paid for 2 beers and walk out!! Another Asian lady that works there yelled” you didn’t pay for the food don’t ever come back! I yelled back”I’m leaving because your food is horrible what makes you think we are coming back?!
we usually go to Jinya in Alpharetta,we were trying to save the drive & try something different..NEVER AGAIN!!
We are ramen lovers! We’ve been to sooo many ramen places here in Us and also Japan. of course all ramen taste different because the broth is made from scratch & every place has they own recipe.. but one thing they have in common is that all ramens are Delicious and everything taste fresh..
SINSE GOOGLE DONT ALLOWED ME TO RESPOND TO YOUR REPLY DIRECTLY… IM REPLYING BY ADDING TO MY REVIEW.. 👇🏽 If you would have took the time and energy you placed In writing this answer to my review in the food you serve, I wouldn’t have been leaving this review. My complaint was not about the ramen being “clumpy”, it was about the old after TASTE of your ramen, the quality of food that was served to us, Along with your poor customer service skill. I understand you trying to defend your restaurant, but this review was left to let the community know about the disaster they are walking into. There are many people that left similar reviews to mine, and accountability was not taken on your part, please stop blaming the customers. What I stated in The review about the Lady running after us was not said in an offensive or derogatory way, it was descriptive, don’t twist my words. Again, if you took the time to go through the reviews I leave for other business establishments,… use that time to train your staff, who brings the entree and appetizers at the same time in less than 10mins,that’s how you know food is NOT FRESHLY MADE, train your staff better customer hospitality skills! You report whatever you like that doesn’t change the truth, but have...
Read moreI ordered the seafood ramen and was expecting it to be a little more aromatic and flavorful, but it was surprisingly off-smelling and a little flavorless.
The menma (bamboo) had an odd smell to it, and I don't know of a fermented style that smelled or tasted that kind befire, but maybe there is. I just couldn't eat it, and I'm typically not put off by fermented foods and have had menma before.
The shrimp had some gelatinous and creamy substance on it, which was even more unexpected because it was submerged in broth. I would have expected it to have been without the substance. The menu didn't have any information on the ingredients, though.
I ended up eating two bites of the ramen and let them take it from our table because I couldn't eat anymore. I still paid for it because I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but it was my first odd experience with ramen. I wish I was more familiar with it to know if that was normal, but I can't find anything on the creamy, gelatinous mixture on the shrimp, nor that specific style of fermented bamboo. We were on a trip, and I didn't want to risk getting sick from food.
The service was good, though, as well as the sushi. The prices are...
Read moreHad an excellent family dinner at Kumo Sushi & Ramen! This place delivers authentic Japanese cuisine with something delicious for everyone.
The sushi was fresh and expertly prepared, the ramen bowls were rich and flavorful, and the fried rice was perfectly seasoned. Every dish we tried showcased quality ingredients and skilled preparation. As a family where two of us are vegetarian, we were particularly impressed with how well they accommodate different dietary needs without compromising on taste - their vegetarian options were just as satisfying as the traditional preparations.
The service was outstanding. Our servers were attentive and friendly, checking on us regularly with genuine care. As a wonderful surprise, they brought us a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal - a thoughtful touch that made our family night even more memorable.
The sake selection offered several quality options, and the atmosphere was perfect for families.
Kumo Sushi & Ramen excels at traditional Japanese cuisine while being thoughtfully inclusive. Whether you’re craving authentic ramen, fresh sushi, or other Japanese favorites, this place delivers. Highly...
