I have had several meals on recent visits that were sub par. I have not posted my displeasure on previous visits, as I thought maybe they were isolated incidences. But after tonight’s takeout order, I decided to post. I ordered a flo’s filet cooked medium. It was cooked well done and was too tough to eat. Definitely not a filet or if it was it was a very low grade of meat. The ribs were burned and crunchy. Neither of these meals could be eaten. This has been the standard for several months now at this location. I used to rave to friends about the service and quality of food, but tonight is the last time I will be patronizing this restaurant. Also, on recent visits inside the restaurant, the servers have been very non accommodating...slow to take order, had to ask for refills, never checked back, had to ask for check and people were sweeping around my table as I was eating. It is so sad to see the lack of customer service at this restaurant. Longhorn has always been my “go to” restaurant for a great meal each time, but no longer. The restaurant has a dirty smell that you notice upon arrival too. The executives at corporate certainly need to take note of this restaurant. It needs an overhaul from top to bottom,...
Read moreWaited 10 mins for a Host to greet my family of 3. The so call Hostess Monica walked to the front 7 mins in. Grabs napkins and walked off. Never greeted or asked if we had been helped. I then looked behind the back of the bar. There was a Gentleman who turned out to be the Manager Chris McCoy , standing on his cellphone doing absolutely nothing! A single white Gentleman then walks in. Stands at the host desk for about 3 minutes impatiently. Finally Monica comes back and greets him. Then proceeds to walk him to his seat. The other young lady. I assume was a a waitress surprised as "I ask , are you all serious? ' You didn't see that we have been patiently waiting to be seated. Monica swears she didn't see us. Well , we were 3 black people, so I can only assume she didn’t want our service or we blended in with the wood interior. Can't say for sure ,but I expressed my concern with the Manager Chris. Monica stood there with a silly unapologetic grin. However, I refuse to never patronage this Longhorn! I understand that its hard to find good help. I just ask, that you make sure they treat everyone equal. All Longhorn corporate cares about is if the bill is paid and good...
Read moreTook my wife here to celebrate our 51st wedding anniversary. Were seated at a table immediately and began browsing through the menu. After 3 or 4 minutes no server came and none even spoke to us. Got out my cell phone and opened the clock app and started the stopwatch. After 6 minutes I told my wife if it got to 10 minutes and no server had yet appeared, we were leaving. At 10 minutes there was still no server. We got up to go and a waitress walking by asked us if no one had yet come to our table. I told her "no" and that this was the poorest customer service we have ever received. She asked if I would like to talk with a manager and I said "yes, I would". She went off to find him and it still took him 5 minutes to show up. I showed him the time on the stopwatch and said this was the worst service we have ever received and that I would not be coming back to his Longhorn ever.
