My best friend referred me to Rex for my “big chop” and let me tell you that he did not disappoint! First I was greeted by very friendly and accommodating staff members who offered me a beverage then I was whisked away to his station area which felt like a suite almost because of the dividers on each side. Rex and communicated on which style would better suit me and he was very friendly and talked to you throughout the whole process and let me know what he was getting ready to do next! This was definitely an experience that I won’t forget anytime soon!

Got this haircut from Kari. $65 to be cut up on ear and neck, absolutely ridiculous. 2nd time going specifically to her. 1st time was a nick or two, this time was significantly more. She did not even apologize. Everyone else seems nice,,, Kari not so much (nor competent). For $65, do yourself a favor and take $$ elsewhere.

This is for Ashley. Unfortunately, this is the first negative review that I have ever written. I came in for a cut today. Nice place, good atmosphere. I had never been here before, so I was excited to see what it had to offer. When I first arrived, I was greeted by the kind receptionist who offered me a beer and a place to hang up my coat, which was nice. She informed me that my stylist would be ready shortly. After about five minutes, my stylist, Ashley, told me that she was ready. She then asked me what I was planning on doing to my hair (keep in mind my hair is about two inches past my shoulders). Excitedly, I told her I wanted to cut it all off, and that I haven’t cut it in two years. She dropped her shoulders and was visibly upset. She ended up telling me directly (not necessarily rude, but could’ve came off that way to others) that I should have left a note on the booking site that I had a lot of hair, because it will take longer. I apologized, and was very understanding of the situation. I offered for her to rebook me so that I didn’t cause any residual problems with her other scheduled appointments. I totally get that she would have liked to know beforehand, but how could I have known that they only schedule me for 30 minutes, when she needed 45 for what I needed done? She still seemed frustrated after I told her I didn’t mind rebooking. She told me that she would need to let her other appointments know to show up 15 minutes later now (indicating that I am at fault here). At this point, I am pretty sad honestly, I thought that a person in this profession would be excited to give somebody their first haircut in two years. Apparently, I was wrong. So, now the haircut starts. She asks how I would like it styled, and I show her. She stayed frustrated through the entire cut, and it was obvious. She rushed through it and was not being precise. When she started to cut the top, she asked how I was going to style it. As I was still answering, she already started cutting. This almost made me say something rude to a service industry employee, something that I typically will never do. All of a sudden, we were done. 15-20 MINUTES LATER. Keep in mind, what she had been soooo frustrated about was how long my hair would take and I should’ve known better to leave a note. Now, we were done, not even 20 minutes later. When she “needed” 45 for my hair. The cut itself looks fine. Not worth $58 + tip though. Now, on the website, it said $48 for the cut. So I was confused, why $58 now? Well…. She said my scalp was dry and I wasn’t washing it properly, so she took the initiative to give me some “scalp treatment” and didn’t inform me that it was extra. Even after all of this, I still tipped the girl 30% because I’m not an a**hole and I know that they make their living on tips. So Ashley, 18/8, I will...

I have received a total of three or four haircuts here (at this point I cannot remember) and every time, I leave with a little disappointment. Between the uneven side burns, the hairlines not being cut well, and the backside of my neckline always being cut awkwardly, I seem to have an issue with every hair cut I have received at this establishment. Most of the time, I let it slide because it’s hair…it will grow back and be fine. The only person who has cut my hair decently there and that I somewhat trust is Philip - he is always so kind. Everyone else who has cut my hair there has been mediocre.

My last haircut which was cut by a female, and after deciding to give them a third chance at this salon, I left in tears. I went in with about 6-7 inches of hair and came back with less than four inches. I also left with a face covered in cut hair and it was not even styled or dried. I left with a wet mop on my head. I understand that I did not pay for a blowout, but I have never been to a salon that did not style or place product in one’s hair after it being cut. After speaking with the manager, who agreed to fix my hair cut - which included saving my neckline and fixing the uneven sideburns, she informed me that the next cut would be on-the-house. I decided to not post a negative review because the manager handled the encounter professionally…and yet again, I let it slide.

I decided to come back about a month later, on 12/3/21, to fix the atrocity of my last haircut and because I wanted a clean-up. The haircut was decent and it will be the last time I receive a haircut at this place. I know, I gave this place about 5-6 tries. Lastly, when I went to check-out at the front-desk there was no record about the terrible experience I had last time, and I paid for the haircut (which I knew I would have to because I anticipated there not being a note about this). In addition, the receptionist was not the kindest person during our interactions from start to finish…there was a lot of sass when I came in for a haircut and when I explained the situation. The haircut was not discounted or on-the-house as the manager had previously stated. I will be calling tomorrow to speak to the manager, I do not anticipate a free-bee, but after my last haircut I think it is a worthwhile ask.

Lastly, I hate doing this but I will not nor would I recommend this place to any of my friends and I can no longer justify the price for the mediocrity of hair cuts here. I will have to find elsewhere because at this point there is no more evens that I can give. I do anticipate being reached out to by the manager of this salon after leaving...

Very disappointed with this merchant, they did not fulfilled what I paid at all, from the moment my husband called to make an appointment they sounded annoyed when he mentioned he had a Groupon. If you people are going to promote your business with Groupon THEN you need to stick to what you are offering! No gray hair service done neither the mini facial, $55 just for a hair cut and hair wash? No thank you. The thing that made me so upset about this was because I bought that Groupon as a father's day gift just for my husband to come back and tell me he did not enjoy it at all :( I complained to Groupon and I sure hope they do not allow this business to be promoted with them in the future ( I'm not the only one that has complained and left bad reviews about this place, it seems other people experienced the same thing as my husband and that's a shame) Just like other reviewers said before, don't waste your money here.. You get better ( and cheaper) service at a supercuts! Learned my lesson...
