The issues that impact Burlington's across Broward county are also evident here. This is a new store and while the merchandising is somewhat different I found a couple of things that were problematic. However regular Burlington customers will find that the store functions essentially the same. The one outstanding comment I could make is their security personnel is courteous and that is across the board not just in this store. The scheduling of cashiers remains to be under supplied. I don't know what logic is used but there were only two cashiers and a line of about 10 people. I happen to have an exchange/return and it was processed courteously and quickly. However other individuals had more complex issues and that does delay how quickly the line moves. There are still items that are stocked in the what I refer to as the impulse buy or last Chance before you check out section. This is always been good because it helps the customers tolerate any delays in line. However their gourmet section was under-stocked both times I visited. I'm confused that there wasn't better merchandising there were so many gaps in between items I couldn't rationalize staying in the section anymore than a minute. I hope whoever is responsible for having enough stock in the stores will take a look at it so that you're not selling empty space. The location itself is quite convenient and located right next to a pet supermarket. Parking in that plaza is not exactly ideal. I don't know who built that plaza but it is not Burlington's fault. I believe Burlington took over a bed bath & beyond and that gave them plenty of space. The shoe section was filled adequately but it did look like some of the other areas also made it difficult to shop in because it was not as well organized or supplied. Some areas are filled with merchandise and others seem to have empty sections. To me this is a stocking issue and I would hope management made upper management aware of what the needs are. All in all Burlington is still an enjoyable place to shop but it does have its frustrations and I think because of those it can lead people to spend less time in the store which ends up being less profit for the...
Read moreChecked out this new store and was utterly disappointed. Not only does the store already look worn and has a sparse item selection, but worst of all the fitting rooms will close upwards of 2 hours BEFORE closing time. Why bother being open until 11pm when your fitting rooms are closed by 9pm?
If Burlington (Owner) is about to reply to this comment saying they're sorry for the inconvenience, please note that this is clearly a regular practice at your understaffed stores. How do I know? See below.
I had this exact issue happen twice at the old Burlington location that was off of State Rd 84, which has since closed. I contacted customer service then and they sincerely apologized. I came to this new store hoping for a reset with the Burlington brand. Utter failure.
PS. I wrote this entire review while waiting for 20 minutes after someone said they "would try to open the door in one minute." Didn't happen so I left my cart with all the items I shopped for and was waiting to try on. Burlington, here's to...
Read moreI rarely leave negative reviews, but the customer service here was truly unacceptable. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional during my visit. When I tried to calmly bring the issue to the manager’s attention, they completely brushed it off as if it wasn’t a big deal. It felt like they had no interest in listening or addressing the concern at all.
I expected better from a business that serves the public. Especially a new store. If management doesn’t take complaints seriously, it says a lot about how they value their customers. I won’t...
