Attention Mr. Fitzpatrick and to whom it may concern,
Our whole experience was a tremendous disappointment, from the moment we pulled over into the drive-thru lane to the moment my children opened their Kids Meals to eat them. I have been in the F&B industry for over 20 years and although I can understand certain things regarding operational challenges, my children and I find ourselves dumbfounded by how tremendously bad our visit was.
Let us start from the young man outside taking orders! He is leaning over the railing with his uniform untucked. At first, I thought he was just some guest on their phone, but then I realized that he was an actual employee. His whole demeanor as an employee displayed a body language of someone on break or ready to go home, not of someone who is ready to deliver any sort of service (forget hospitality), specially to the fact that he proceeded to take my entire order while leaning on the railing. I can really tee that it was “a pleasure” for him to tale my business (not even tank you and proceed to the next window).
By the time I arrived to the window I was greeted by a spiel right out of the waffle house drive thru. It seems that this young lady was trained to greet you at the gate at the flea market. And that’s not even the best part! My daughter asked me if she could get extra Nuggets to share with her brother and as soon as I asked this young lady for an extra order of nuggets, she actually give me a sigh and rolled her eyes, I was flabbergasted at that point I said to myself - this cannot get any worst, this is Chick-fil-A!!! But no, this staff was not ready to let up yet. This young lady proceeded to ask her two coworkers at her station while I waited for my order “why are you guys mad at me?” to which one of her coworkers replied and to what I heard perfectly sitting inside my car… “because you F----- us yesterday”,. and to my total astonishment the “manager” (if your organization wants to call him that) was standing next to all of them while this whole ordeal developed and he didn’t even flinch. But then again, thankfully these people that “interacted” with me (for a lack of a better term) don’t work for me. Therefore, Mr. Fitzpatrick luck to you with that.
The reality is that I would have come home and lay that whole experience to rest and move on with my day, but yet again, the Chick-fil-A Weston, Fl. had one last hoop to jump. I ordered 2 identical kids’ meal, nuggets 6pcs with fries, chocolate milk and ice cream cups and by the time we all got home from a rather long day and my hungry children sat to eat their meals, their orders were WRONG! I guess that she was more concerned about what her coworkers think about her than getting her orders right. No chocolate milks, no ice creams and one of the meals was grilled nuggets (dry as pieces of rubber) instead of nuggets. But my children as good kids as they are, they ate their meal and then they said “it is a sin to throw away food, so it we are going to eat it anyhow”. but at the end I had to make diner for my daughter because the quality of your grilled nuggets, and that is what did it for me. Hence, here you have it!
This whole experience was utterly ridiculous, measurably unprofessional and most of all a disgrace to the reputation of the Chick-fil-A organization. And in case that you want to verify if this complaint is authentic… My order number is: 4527535 on 10/24/2019 @ 8:12:37pm. I am glad that I paid in cash because I do not wish for you or your organization to issue me a refund or anything along those lines.
Good luck to you and god bless,
P.S: The tent outside looks terrible, needs...
Read moreOn Thursday, October 2, at approximately 1:00 p.m., I had an unpleasant experience at your restaurant that I feel is important to bring to your attention.
When I arrived, there was an elderly woman with a medical boot on her foot who was picking up a large DoorDash order of about seven bags. She politely asked the manager for a plastic bag to help carry the food. The manager declined, explaining that it is Chick-fil-A policy not to provide plastic bags to DoorDash drivers and that they are expected to bring their own. Up to that point, I completely understood and respected the policy.
What concerned me, however, was what happened next. I asked the woman why she wasn’t able to get a bag, and she explained the policy. We both casually remarked that the manager had been a bit rude in the way he said it. The manager overheard this, approached the woman, and said, “I was going to give you a bag, but now that you complained, I’m not going to.”
I found that comment to be unnecessarily disrespectful, especially toward an older woman who was simply trying to do her job while clearly dealing with physical challenges. This type of response felt unprofessional and dismissive, and it left me quite upset.
One of the workers told me the manager’s name was “John,” but after the disagreement, he removed his name tag, so I cannot confirm if that is accurate.
I hope you can address this matter. I have always appreciated Chick-fil-A’s reputation for kindness and excellent customer service, which is why this incident stood out so strongly.
Thank you for your time and for looking into...
Read moreI did a delivery order through a food delivery service at the. Chick fil-a WESTON, FL.
Once I’ve received the customer’s food (in the standard white paper bag, sealed) I asked for a plastic bag to place the food inside. The worker advised me that she wasn’t allowed to give plastic bags to Uber, post mates or any food delivery service) I replied “that’s weird. These are your customers. I am a customer”
I decided to call and get clarification to why with a manger. The manager replied, we are not allowed to give out bags. You guys should have your own insulated bag. I said, “yes we do. I’m not talking out a delivery bag. I’m talking about a plastic bag” the manager replied, we are not allowed to give those bags out to you guys either. I then told the manager that is weird. These are your customers. I then gave him an example of it being raining and the customer wants to leave the food at the door and there’s a puddle of water in front of the house. I gave an even common occasion. What happens if the paper bag breaks with the customers food? The manager repeated we are not allowed to give out plastic bags. I said you guys pick which customers you want to give plastic bags to. This is chick-fil-a and ended the call.
BOTTOM LINE. I WOULD NEVER EAT AT A RESTAURANT THAT PICKS AND CHOOSES WHO THEY GIVE SOMETHING SO MINOR (a plastic bag to protect their pick up order) IT DOESNT MATTER THE METHOD THEY ORDERED THE FOOD THESE ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS AND THIS SHOULD SHOULD FEEL ASHAMED… THE PERSON PICKING UP THE FOOD DOESNT BENEFIT FROM A PLASTIC BAG. THIS STORE IS GHETTO AND CHOOSEY....
