Ocean Club — Local services in Daytona Beach

These people aren't getting my business!! Super rude to customers. As we were walking into the store a couple of people came out looking irritated saying the owners cut the lights out and made them leave an hour from closing! Thinking we might have a chance to go in considering there were many people in the check out line and we already knew what we had came for, a hermit Crab pet for my niece. However, we were greeted harshly by some worker near the door with "we are closing. You have to leave." I then said "well there are still many people in line and we were just going to pick up one of the crabs and it says the shop is open for another hour." The man followed my reply with " No, you have to leave NOW. We aren't taking your business shows...

Went into this store with some friends, one woman who worked there was wonderful, very sweet, but while my friends and I were looking and pointing at some small turtles they sold, one worker came over and began screaming and cussing at us, believing we were touching the turtles when all we were doing was pointing. She told us we were idiots because we didn't read the signs and said a multitude of cuss words at us for something we did not even do wrong. We finally left after awkwardly getting yelled at for a couple of minutes in which she said "Yeah you better f*ing leave." I couldn't believe somebody was so rude to us for no reason, I'm not trying to bad mouth this place, I'm just...

Honestly there are just better stores. This place has many flashy sale signs, but I expect that these are year round sales that intend to make the customer feel like they are saving money but they are actually spending more money than if they had gone to another store.

Also, very inhumane treatment for their turtles and hermit crabs! Those animals should not be sold at a tacky tourist store, they should be responsibly sold at a pet store. The enclosures they were selling were ridiculous! Turtles need much more space and this store is setting up these animals to be neglected and abused.

Also not a fan of the confederate...
