IHOP — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

If I could put 0 stars I would. I went out to eat breakfast and first thing when we sit down we started looking at the menu and we were then rushed to order because they were apparently “turning the grills off” during business hours. The meal was okay, but when we went to check out, our payment was taken and was pulled out of our account as expected. But the waitress we had came back and said it was declined even though the money had already been taken out to cover the meal. They also ran a random $7 charge that also got taken out on top of the price of the meal for no reason. We were never explained to as to why that charge was even made in the first place. While we’re trying to figure the situation out on why the money was pulled, the manager Carlos came over with a bad attitude and was very disrespectful. All he was doing was shutting down our concerns and acting like we didn’t have the money to cover our meal when it had already been pulled out. Instead of being remorseful he was questioning us like we didn’t even have to money in the first place when we just showed them the transaction history. He just kept saying we had to run the card again when the money had already been taken out. Once we paid for the meal AGAIN we were told the money would be refunded by the next morning at 6 AM. Well, the next morning came and the random $7 charge came back but not the actual full meal purchase. Don’t come here unless you want to spend 2x the amount...

The food was fast and amazing greeted immediately when we walked in server was prompt excellent service from here if I could give her 10 stars I would But unfortunately one small detail in this wonderful restaurant made me decide to never visit them again As my husband and I were wrapping up our visit to them at two o'clock in the morning I had to use the bathroom my husband looks at me and says you can go but you best be careful using the bathroom here I asked him what was he talking about his reply the bathrooms are Unisex Meaning a woman can be in the bathroom using it and a man can just walk in or a child could be using the bathroom and anyone can just walk in I was mortified but I had to go as I walk into the bathroom I noticed there were two stalls I looked at the main bathroom door and you could actually lock the door so your the only one in a two stall bathroom. So I'm thinking if this restaurant is busy and a child goes in to use the bathroom they will not know or understand to lock the door to the bathroom itself. I will never return because of this it is just not safe at all I am a woman that was in that restaurant at 2 o'clock in the morning were grown very drunk men were coming in to eat traveling at that...

This is the 2nd time I come to this IHOP this year and they have let me down. I came in last weekend and my food took over 45 minutes. We got up and left. It was no where near to being brought to our table. My server kept me up to date on it. She told me I still had 6 tables ahead of me , 45 minutes and no food!? It’s ihop we are talking about! And it was half empty!

I decided to give them another try , since I come here every year. And assuming that maybe weekday would be better, we always stop by this Ihop. It was always the best I had visited. We come from Alabama.

Once again today was terrible.Looks like this place is falling apart. My server was amazing! She was very attentive but I had to wait 35 minutes for my food, they served me raw pancakes and burnt hash brown! Did I wait that long for my food to come out like that? It’s absolutely disappointing.I never complained to my server as I could tell by all of their faces they were just as frustrated as we were for how long the food was taking.

I don’t recommend anyone coming to this IHOP until they can get their crap together. I give them 2 stars, because of our service from our server Teresa that kept us...
