While shopping for board shorts, I overheard a conversation between employees, and apparently one employee could not leave their shift yet 45 minutes after it ended because of an apparent "repeat offender" named Kara. Eventually she showed up and pushed right past me and ignored everyone around her asking why she was so late! It was pretty funny, but I felt bad for everyone else. Everyone was very helpful, but then Kara was very rude, both to her coworkers and to me and even the woman in front of me in line. She was hanging out on her phone checking whatever, and called other employees to help me into a fitting room. Not sure what her deal was, but I dont blame her, shes probably upset because she looks like an orange bell pepper. 5 stars because everyone else was very helpful and they dont deserve to be reviewed poorly because of the weakest link in their chain. The staff is nice, just not the Performance 41 BL body boards. I went in to the store and bought 2 body boards. The 1st one was a 15.00 dollar board that was great, the 2nd one was a 39.00 dollar board that is supposed to be built better and last longer. After just 3hrs of use the stitching on the strap began to unravel and by the end of the day the whole board was beginning to blister and come apart. When I tried to take it back the staff informed me that this happens all the time with this kind of board and they couldn't replace it (with a new one) or give me a refund. The problem I have is, if a store knows it has bad merchandise why continue to sell that product, its really bad business. The product should be returned to the manufacturer not sold to customers knowing it...

Stopped at this store to look around and was greeted with a big welcome by Khaliel. I found a shirt I really liked and went to pay for it and realized I forgot my debit card at hotel. Khaliel jumped right in with I can hold this item and I promised I’d be right back to pay for it. Time got away from me and I never made it back to store that day. The next day my husband and I stopped in there to see if the shirt was still there and Khaliel remembered me and I apologized for not coming back that day. I found shirt and as i payed for it Khaliel said he held that shirt for me all day and even told the manager or owner that I would be back.
