I ordered from this place expecting a good and hot meal, my family and I were staying a week at ocean walk hotel. The wait time was ridiculous, we waited a good hour for our food, when we got a 15 minute or so estimate. They were also very rude on the phone when we were ordering. When we got to the delivery guy down stairs he gave me a receipt to sign and that was it. I asked for another receipt and he refused to give me one. My family gave them the cash for their other order and got their receipt though. My order turned out to be $10 overcharged, when we called back later on to ask about it they said it was because of the delivery fee but the delivery fee was only supposed to be $5. My order contained loaded fries, which were cold and looked as if they were left overs. My family’s order also included a 2 liter of soda and garlic knots, the garlic knots were practically frozen and the 2 liter we received was the wrong kind of soda. When we called the restaurant about all of this they said that they’d send the correct the soda and a receipt with a delivery man. After about a 30 minute wait we called back to see where the delivery man was, there wasn’t one. They said they weren’t going to be sending a delivery man and refused to at least send the correct soda to us, the entire phone call was very rude and hostile when we were being perfectly reasonable and calm, there was no reason to behave this way towards us. By the end of the call we were told the owner would give us a call in 5 minutes to speak about the situation, that call never came. Throughout both of those phone calls we could not get a singular sentence out without being interrupted by the worker on the phone. Our night ended without our correct food, the wrong soda, and lots of money spent to be spoken to as if we were in the wrong for expecting the services we paid for. This was horrible and I hope absolutely no one else has to experience this disappointing disaster of a restaurant. It is disgusting that people are treated this way by this restaurant and I encourage anyone who wants correct, hot food and basic human respect to take your business elsewhere because that is most certainly not what you are going to...
Read moreMy teenage kids placed an order at around 8:05 for wings, chicken fingers, and a gyro. They were told it would be here at 8:50. At 9:25 I called to ask the status. I was told they would be right here and to meet them downstairs in the hotel lobby. I went straight down. At 9:45 I went back upstairs and called again. They arrived a few minutes later. When we got back to our room, my daughters wings were just thrown in the box with BBQ sauce poured on top. My sons chicken "fingers" was a frozen chicken patty cut into 1/8 " strips and the fries tasted like they had been cooked 3 hours ago. When I called and complained about the fact that my kids just spent $27 of their Christmas money on food that was ridiculously prepared, the manager, Angela, was unconcerned with my concerns. She simply said that is the way they prepare their food. After arguing with her for 10 min, she told me that if I had ALL of the food to return that she would replace the chicken fingers. I ordered my son a cheeseburger as a replacement. We waited about another hour before it was delivered. I returned the chicken fingers and fries and got a smashed up burger that was thrown in a wrapper. No cheese and no fries. I called again to ask for the general managers name. She then told me that if I wanted to talk with someone that could help me, I would have to call Angelo at 2 a.m. she was very rude and wouldn't do anything more to satisfy me. The food was cold, very poorly prepared, and my son could've gotten a 10 pack of frozen chicken breast and cut them in strips himself for $5.94 at Walmart instead of the $7.95 he paid here. Read moreOrder elsewhere unless you pick up the food yourself. We ordered from this place once. Food was okay but good enough we ordered again. The second time we ordered at 7pm. By 9pm we hadn't received our food. We called the restaurant and was informed that the driver had left almost an hour prior and they were only 5 minutes from our hotel. She hung up with us and within 10 minutes the driver arrived. He was disheveled and looked like he was half asleep. He slurred his speech. The food was cold and soggy. We called back and the lady who answered said she would put our receipt under the register with a note, as she had to talk to a manager or the owner about compensation and to call back. We called back a day or so later during the day. The day shift person said she couldn't find the receipt and didnt know about our issue. What she did say was that they have had "numerous issues with that particular driver". So it was a known issue. She then advised us to call back after 4. So we called back after 4 the next day and spoke to the absolute rudest person I have ever interacted with in the restaurant industry. She said that our situation should have been handled the night it happened and that since it wasn't handled there was nothing she would do about it because it wasnt her problem. We asked to speak to someone else and she wouldnt allow us to. We asked for her name and she wouldnt provide it. So whomever is working the evening shift on 12/4 who answered the phone at 415pm, you are the reason I will never order from your establishment again.
