My family and I were moving to the Ft Lauderdale area from out of state and we needed help finding a place to live. We found Find a Home which we thought was reputable. We sent them money for application fees and a down payment on a house. We were told this money would be refundable should it not work out for any reason. We attempted to keep in contact with them during out trip half way across the country, but at times was difficult to get ahold of. Dispite that, things seemed fine at first. The first 2 places they found did not work out. The third place we were told we had it and that we might even get a discount if we painted it ourselves which we were willing to do. However when I tried to contact them to verify on this place I could not get ahold of our agent for quite some time. Finally when we were about 4 hours away from our destination, we finally able to get in contact and were informed that it was not a guarantee that we had that place after all, and that if it didnt work out they would keep looking but would cost us more application fees. At that point we had given 3 application fees and the down payment on renting a house, and at that point we didn't feel comfortable working with them anymore. The only guarantee we had at this point was that they would keep charging us more application fees. We felt we were going to be homeless working with them. We politely asked for our remaining money back that wasn't spent in application fees. They said NO! After telling us in the beginning that this money was refundable. To make things worse, after refusing to give us our money back. She even said that they were going to try to charge us a full months rent on the place that we didn't even have! Which doesn't make any sense to me. That must be their scare tactic to get people to leave them alone. They stole our money, I don't think they had any intentions of getting us in a place, and they are thieves. They are not a...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I understand real estate is all about selling, but man these people are pushy and rude. I took my neice here last week to help her find an apartment...we were helped by a guy and his assistant...super snobby people...they treated us like we weren’t good enough to be there. They just wanted to get her property without taking into consideration her budget. We gave them her budget and it went in one ear and went thru the other...I said her budget because they kept coming up with over her budget properties and the guy YELLS, yes, yells “OH all of a sudden her budget went down” at that point my neice got up and It was like they wanted to help but not really...they were stuck up, rude, unprofessional and naive. And wait it gets better. My brother is looking to buy some investment property and he asked his daughter (my neice) to call the listing agent from a property on Zillow...and it turned out the agent who answered is the same rude people from Find-a-home. So, they recognized my neice’s number and the agent says “Oh, you want to buy now...and starts telling her she can’t buy...blah blah...my neice says it’s not for me just please schedule to view the place...she refused...little does she know my brother has CASH to purchase the property...lol!!! Stupid realtor. If your reading this and you know who you are....SUCKS TO BE YOU!!!! I’m just upset I can’t remember their names but I’m actually contemplating on going back and getting their cards to post their names. The guys is super obnoxious and loud and a receding hair line...lol...and the girl has a New York/New Jersey accent and black long curly hair...super clueless. I’m sure they are other realtors there that may be professionals but these two clowns...

I have no idea how anyone gives this place good reviews but ok ... my first time meeting with my realtor I told her everything I wanted and didn’t want and WHERE i wanted, she winded up showing me 1 place at a time and On top of that I winded up wasting 300$ on app fees and back round check credit checks only to get denied the second place I go to she shows me a 1br and knowingly wastes my time telling me I could get the apartment meanwhile it would be my son my fiancé and I ( the apartment was big enough for all 3 of us ) oh and she told me I could fit my son in the closet , so after I complain to the manger she cuts me off while I’m speaking and won’t hear me out ...she ask me why would I tell the apartment people there are 3 people living in the house ? Basically telling me I should of lied ... so they find me a new realtor this one doesn’t seem as bad but guess what she calls me and tells me she found a one br and I should lie and say my son is under 2 ... these people are some type of slow and I’d stay away if I would lie and do that and they kick me out I’m sure I’d be effed I seriously wouldn’t recommend this place to a homeless person* after the manger sees my review she called me and asked me to take down the review instead of actually trying to resolve the issue and help me great...
