The woman I dealt with was unbelievably rude â downright disrespectful. And when I asked to speak to her supervisor, thinking maybe someone else would actually LISTEN or try to fix things, it only got worse. Turns out her supervisor is the postmaster, and she was even more arrogant and dismissive than the first. No apology. No empathy. Not even the SLIGHTEST attempt to deescalate the situation like any competent manager would. Just cold, condescending attitude from the start.
I was trying to be reasonable. I just wanted to be heard. But every time I tried to explain what was wrong, she cut me off, talked down to me, and acted like I was the problem for even speaking up. Eventually, she flat-out told me to leave â and then had the nerve to threaten to have me removed. For what? For asking for basic respect?
At first, I thought maybe I just caught them on a bad day â maybe it was me. But no. I checked the reviews, and it turns out this is just how they run things here. Itâs not a fluke â itâs a pattern. She treats everyone like theyâre beneath her, and instead of doing her job and actually MANAGING the place, she just dismisses every complaint like itâs nothing. Apparently, SHES never the problem â itâs always everyone else.
To make it even worse, she refused to give me her superiorâs name or contact info. Totally shut me down. And Iâve even heard from others that she goes through peopleâs packages under the excuse of âcheckingâ them â which honestly makes my skin crawl.
I am furious that this is the level of service weâre expected to accept. I will NEVER go back. Ever. And if youâre thinking about it? Donât. You deserve better than this.
If my experience isn't enough, just look at the tens of others reviews. Over 100 and a 2.5 at this point in time. This is who we trust with our stuff...
Read moreThe people that work the desks are very nice, however my rating is due to a few things. When we moved into the area we were told we had to get our community box rekeyed, no problem. Went to the post office and completed the paperwork necessary to begin the process. I was told it would be 2-3 business days before the job was complete and we would be notified by the post office to go pick up our keys once complete. A week went by and I never heard. I went to the post office and was told oh it could take two weeks because they just replaced the contracted who goes out and does it. Another week goes by and still nothing. When I went back and requested a resolution I was told they would put the request in again and call the person directly, that I should hear back in 24 hours. Nothing. Went back and they called the carrier requesting that our mail be dropped off to our house since we havenât had access to our mail in 3 weeks. Nothing. Went back and complained and put my foot down and had our mail delivered that day. The person who delivered it claimed they hadnât heard anything about rekeying our box that they would take care of it in 24-48 hours. Almost a week passes and nothing. Went back to the post office and we were given a number to call another local post office to resolve the matter since the supervisor wasnât there. Nobody answered the phone. Over a month later we finally got our keys, albeit without telling us where our box was or what box number we were given. We had bills in our box and documents for our home purchase sitting for over a month. We had past due payments and other issues because of the post offices lack of organization, communication, and professionalism. Something...
Read moreThe clerk was very rude and condescending. I was mailing out about seven packages and she had a snide remark about each one. She was unable to use a fragile stamp on my items, as the other offices have done hundreds of times for me, unless I paid $10 per package. She refused two of my packages because they were not suitable to ship when again, the other offices always have. She did not offer an alternate way to ship that would suit her. She would not do my transactions separate, like every other business on the planet does. When we said this to the manager, he did not apologize or offer customer "service." He just questioned why I wanted them separate, as if I owe him an explanation. The entire time this clerk was serving me, she had a goofy smile on her face and was laughing, which indicates to me that she enjoys NOT accommodating the customers that keep her employed.
The woman in front of me was given a problem by this same clerk and took about ten minutes to process one package. Judging by their already horrible Google rating, I am not alone when I say to avoid this place if possible. Orange City and Debary have great...
