I went to this store for the 2nd time ever & it was my last.
First of all, the rude woman who didn't ask me, but rudely TOLD me, to step back to get "in line" for the dressing rooms, whilst the attendant was literally holding my items to place them in a room.
But even that wasn't the issue. On Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, I was accused on stealing. I had purchased 2 items from the register and as I walked out a young girl ran up to me and said 1 of 2 things (its tough to remember when you're blind sided by an employee yelling at you): a.) "ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR THOSE ITEMS" b.) "YOU NEED TO PAY FOR THOSE ITEMS"
either way, I had just casually/slowly walked from the register where I was 100% sure I had purchased my items.
During the time at the register 4 things happened that concluded the sale (as a CUSTOMER, someone who can't see the register), after I placed the item on the counter & the sales associate "rang up" the items. 1.) the SA asked if i'd like a bag (I said "no bc i have 2 bags from zara that i can place the items in) 2.) the card reader beeped, as if I had completed the transaction 3.) the SA asked "would you like your receipt emailed" 4.) the SA proceeded to call up "NEXT CUSTOMER" ANNNNNND my SA left the register
I remember this specifically because I felt in the way, bc I was still gathering my items and the new customer was being helped.
Any human, at that point, would assume their transaction had been tendered and would proceed to leave the store with the items THEY HAD PURCHASED. BUT imagine my surprise when I am then approached as if I was trying to steal the items in my bag.
What actually happened was the SA('s) helping me at the register wasn't paying attention and let me walk away even though the BEEP I heard from the CC machine was actually my chip malfunctioning.
AS A PAYING CUSTOMER I expect better treatment, I don't expect them to let me leave without paying, but as a company you can agree that you should not approach a customer the way I was approached.
I'd LOVE a response from the store on...
Read moreI have never been unimpressed like this before from customer service. I work in customer service for 11 years and boy did I feel this woman was killing my vibes motivating me even more to leave the store empty handed. This was the first time entering Aritzia and I will say it will be the last time. I was not greeted when I walked in . All of a sudden when I had 2 items in my hand , this woman starts to grab the clothes to start a fitting room. I replied saying I am still browsing. She finally walked away until 5 minutes later, she pushed onto a fitting room again. At this point, I was very unimpressed and wanted to walk away if it was not for a special event that evening. As I thought the situation was over, all hell broke loose when I asked an associate where her jacket was from. The lady earlier came running towards me giving me less than 1 inch away from my personal space trying to see what I was doing talking to another associate. She did not even allow the girl to speak on where her jacket was from. My goodness did this irritate me. There was no sense of respect or space. She then turned me to an item that was not similar to what the coworker was wearing. I told her I did not like it and she insisted I try on a different size. When a customer says she is not interested in the item, do not force to try on a different size. The final straw was when I was trying on my items in the fitting room. Once I finished trying it on, she hurried her way towards me to grab my items that I wanted to keep. I knew from the beginning she worked on commission because that type of service was forced and only profit driven. Last time I checked, customer service is genuine and not pushed upon. Please talk to your associates about respect and boundaries. I forgot this lady name however her employee number is 123488. She had shoulder-length hair with...
Read moreTLDR very professional and clean experience, only complaint was whoever had control of the music couldn't make up their mind which rocked the vibe a little for me.
The only physical store for this brand? I'm not going to pretend I know how any of this works, so I will just rate the experience as someone accompanying someone else who is actually shopping. store front is just like any other mall department store, but once you walk in the vibe is quite different. They have some standard wall displays that have that seasons models showing off the articles playing on a loop. I do not know anything about how the associates benefit from extra customer service, but from how they act it seems like they would get a piece of whatever sales take place. Very friendly and personable while catering to what I would consider "hard-core" clothes shoppers. While the person I was accompanying only had one or two items, I saw associates carrying armfuls of articles to the dressing rooms. The dressing rooms were very professional. There was always an associate present. It was a central area with dressing rooms along the walls, about 8-10, and mirrors on the back wall. Nicest dressing room setup I have seen in a while. There was also seating available both in the dressing room and out by the registers. only thing missing for this setup would have been wifi and charging ports! Checkout experience was also pleasant. The associates were not pushing the store CC but there was tasteful adverts for it dispersed across the counter. Being the only physical store it goes without saying that they won't always have stock but you can order online with a slight discount for having come in to the actual store,...
