I am thankful to have Lauren as my esthetician because she is one of the few people I’ve met that cares about how YOU feel in it. It’s been a long journey with acne and a huge expense meeting with dermatologists (which makes my head hurt). The cost did not justify the lack of results or confidence I had in skin. I felt like a shell of a person until I met Lauren. She took time to really figure out my skiing to understand what type of ingredients affect my skin, how often I should exfoliate my sensitive skin, how to counteract my redness with kindness and tools, and had practice conversations with me to give me confidence to discuss my skin concerns with my dermatologist. I don’t know any other esthetician that is willing to extend that kind of understanding, wisdom, or time to make me feel beautiful and comfortable in my skin journey. Furthermore, the hydrafacials I get from Lauren transport me to a place of peace because I trust her to listen to me if a product is uncomfortable. She truly puts the client first and works with their skin! I never thought in a million years I would be able to get more “exfoliation based” facials given how sensitive my eczema and acne are in the Colorado weather. However, Lauren has done more research and networking to find ingredients that are safe for my skin and I am forever grateful for that. I highly recommend going to Luna Salon & Spa! I’m a victims advocate, I work in crisis. I cannot rave more about how important taking special care for oneself is.. and how it just makes life… better! I started getting facials a year ago and I have to say, a quality facial makes all the difference. Lauren has exceptional customer service etiquette- she answers questions thoroughly, she gives you a genuine insight on her background and provides info on services that are best align with your needs (rather than promoting expensive options that may not be worth it). She incorporates cosmetology with medical knowledge. Lastly, she gives an AMAZING head/neck/arm massage- an added bonus that many salons don’t offer or will require additional payment for. Hello everyone. Here is my review for Lauren Boyd. It's quite a unique and interesting one, show casing how versatile and talented she is. I'm a published author and needed some covers for my books. I found Lauren through a photographer in Aurora whom she has teamed up with to do hair and makeup for the models. I have been blown away by Lauren's professionalism, ambition and talent while she did the hair and makeup, and also some wardrobe assiatance and direction for these photo shoots.
