I did not have a good experience shopping for my wedding dress. I thought that when it came to shopping for a dress that the stylist prepares for you ahead of time and is ready to pull dresses based on the styles you've requested, but when I got there they were clearly overbooked and understaffed. I had to wait for a stylist and a room to be available, even though I had an appointment. The stylist had no clue what she was doing. My future MIL ended up finding the dresses in my size because the stylist didn't even know the right place to look and just told me they didn't have the dress I was looking for in my size (they did). Then when I was trying dresses on, the only thing the stylist cared about was getting the dresses I tried on back on the hangers and in the bags instead of helping me zip up the dress or clip my dress so I could see how it would look if it fit me right. It was so bad my mother and MIL asked the stylist for the clips and did it themselves, and also went to go pick out other dresses and styles for me to try on because the stylist did not offer any suggestions or help. It was such an impersonal experience. Thankfully, I went to a boutique later in the day that offered exceptional service and the stylist really knew what she was doing. I would have to save my experience from the start was not the greatest. I am new to figuring out dresses and what I like or what will work for me. I came in for an appointment 2/14 and Linda was the lady that was helping me. I hate giving bad reviewed because that isn’t me at all, but today my experience was not good at all. I felt uncomfortable and the vibe just wasn’t there. I gave my price ranged and I was brought out a $2500 dress. Which I didn’t know the price until after trying it on. I had an idea of what I was interested in, but was brought different dresses and I was totally fine with that because some that were brought out were beautiful I just didn’t LOVE them. Some of the beading on the dresses irritated my skin and I mentioned it a couple times. Overall I don’t want to be that person, but Linda just wasn’t the right fit for me and just had sort of a bad attitude from the start. Yes she did start loosing up but it still wasn’t there. Then at the end when we were getting ready to leave. I did mention that I have to still think about it and I haven’t found the one dress yet. She proceeded to say it was nice meeting you all and I wish you the best. We thanked her then got in another topic and she cut me off mid sentence and said, “like I said….it was nice meeting you and best wishes”. Updated review - August 4, 2024 I struck gold with Linda again! Not only did she help my sister find the most magical, fairytale wedding dress for her upcoming wedding, but she also helped her to find a second dress for the dinner. Both are beautiful and make my sister feel like a million bucks. Linda really knows how to pick dress silhouettes that complement our bodies and make us feel confident and happy. She also helped my mom find a mother of the bride dress and me a bridesmaids dress. We trusted her opinion and let her pick them for us and they were amazing. I am not totally in love with my body, and the dress she picked for me made me feel so confident. And it has pockets. Linda will never steer you wrong and in the end, helped us find 4 dresses between the 3 of us that colorfully coordinate as well. Side note, we canceled our other wedding dress appointments.
