Confirmed TOXIC mold growth, Chaetomium, due to GM negligence.
Bought a brand new 2023 Chevy traverse red line in 2022 at Starling chevy in deland florida (now known as carroll chevy). Since then problem after problem, to the point that chevy and gm cant repair or keep water from getting in my cabin, and have exposed us to toxic mold for over a year. Over 200 days this car has been in service ive been without a vehicle more than ive had a vehicle since purchase. GM cannot even speak to chevy. We have to call gm from chevy managers office in order to get our open case discussed at all. (1 time 1 communication over the last 3 months is all weve got 0 help and 0 concern for cuatomer health or concern) Our representatives brenda at gm hangs up on us everytime we call and tries to close our case with no resolution or help. This company is by far one of the worst companies i have ever ran across. They will tell you this call is being recorded and when u call next time they say they have no record of our conversation. Utter lies and neglect. They are sick individuals who dont care about human health or quality of life or the safety of children or adults or even their employees. They do not care about making things right or protecting or treating customers with respect or dignity. The BBB will be receiving a full report along with all the bureaus in florida and I think ill add Michigan burueas to the list now too. OSHA would likely need to be notified for the toxic mold thats in one of your dealerships and how the employees are being exposed as well. What you are doing to paying customers and FAMILIES IS WRONG! GM is despicable and disgusting. Do better. These pictures are from when my car spent its most recent month at chevy in deland florida over summer. They let mold grow in my vehicle and did not document or inform us of the mold and leisurely wiped it up without documentation and forced our family in this car. Its confirmed Chaetomium TOXIC MOLD. Here's the photos of how they gave my fully warrantied brand new car with 9k miles on it back yet again. As they sit back and take my monthly payments leaving us in financial stress and burden and without a vehicle unable to even get to our required dr appointments for this mold exposure. We are sick due to your negligence. My 4 year old daughters lungs are comprimised due to this, you have no morals as a company. Avoid this company at all costs if you want to stay healthy and alive, literally!!!!
PICTURES OF THE TOXIC MOLD YOUR COMPANY REFUSES TO TEST FOR AND REFUSES TO FIX. WE ARE ALL UNDER DRS CARE FOR EXPOSURE DUE TO YOUR NEGLIGENCE. Carroll Chevrolet in deland florida. Maybe this review will help you connect the dots of our open case (that brenda asks to close everytime she talks to us though shes never even spoke to our dealer) after months of us trying to for you!!! Shame on General Motors. Good luck to anyone who has spent a dime with this company. Good luck!!!!!! Protect yourself because GM and Chevy will do everything possible to get their money...
Read moreI have lost all respect for GM products and the company. I “was” a GM employee and loved their products and believed in their products but now it is quite the opposite. I can no longer work for a company that has lost all respect for their products and customers. There is no quality control anymore. I personally have watched customers go through hell just trying to get their issues and problems resolved with no satisfaction. I personally own several GM vehicles and have been on the same side as the customer. But here lately it has been a nightmare. One vehicle was out of service for 8 months due to parts being discontinued because of a licensing issue with Bosch is what I was told. Finally I was able to out source the used parts needed but at a huge inflated price. My second vehicle just had a GM performance engine installed in it, with only 5,000 miles on the engine, it failed due to surface rust all inside on the cylinder walls, crankshaft and cam shaft. The only area that didn’t have surface rust was the water/coolant jackets. It must have been sitting in the Michigan warehouse for years before they shipped it out. But because I was one month outside of my warranty period, I pretty much was told to pound sand. To make matters worse, I placed a special order on a 2024 Colorado ZR2 Bison last year and have been waiting over seven months with no idea of when it will arrive or if it will ever arrive. But it has been built since January. What angers me, is the bad customer relations with the dealerships that GM causes and they don’t seem to care. UPDATE: After nine months I finally received my Colorado Bison, I had it for only eight days before it was out of service. Front camera module failed and caused two other modules to fail also. When it failed, I was traveling on the interstate at 75mph and the rear brakes locked up. I almost wrecked the vehicle. Also when the brakes locked up it shock loaded the transmission and damaged it severely. Once I got the vehicle limped back to the dealership the transmission oil pan was removed and the pan had metal shavings in the pan. After waiting over two months for parts from the factory and making two payments on the vehicle I opted to do the factory buy back since the dealership couldn't get an ETA on when the parts would be available from the factory. I feel violated how GM handled the buy back. I lost a large some of money over the whole deal. Congratulations GM!, You have lost me as an employee, a customer and an owner for life! Buyers beware, buying anything GM you are purchasing garbage. Their warranties don't mean a thing especially if they can't manufacture parts needed to repair what they sell. What really irritates me is the fact that the dealerships that sells your garbage products takes the heat from customers and this makes for bad customer relations for...
Read moreREAD TO THE END Attention to everyone who has had problems with General Motors and the faulty vehicles they sell to customers around the world. And putting our lives in danger because their vehicles and products are unsafe. So, rather waiting for GM to reimburse us with our monetary requests, or a new replacement automobile of your choice for those of you seeking that type of compensation or resolution. We should all consider filing a class action lawsuit against General Motors and the dishonest dealerships we have had to deal with! Let's do this!! On May 6, 2024, I purchased a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer from the Elco Cadilac and Chevrolet dealership in Ballwin, MO. First and foremost, I was not even considering purchasing a Chevrolet at the time. My 2015 Buick Lacrosse, which had served me well, was totaled in an accident on February 29, 2024. I hadn't had a car note in over six years. Following the accident, which was completely beyond my control. Anyway, my shopping for the Nissan Murano in pearl white was unsuccessful. Then I went looking for a Honda SUV because the Honda Accord that had previously served me well, as well as a Camry SUV that had served me well in the past. After months of searching for my ideal automobile to no avail. I ended up at the Elco dealership. This young man came out, and we started talking. I told him how God miraculously saved my life in an accident in February. He started talking about being a Christian. So that struck a chord with me because I am, too. So I told him I would buy a car from him since I believed he was honest and a true Christian. Long story short, I made it clear to him that I needed All Wheel Drive (AWD), pearl white, and leather interior. Oh, this scammer convinced me it was all-wheel drive, lied to me about hands-free charging by putting it in the console where you keep your keys, and so on. The sales manager at the time (Dan) and the finance manager (Dan Meyer) engaged in so many ungodly dishonest unethical acts that it is absurd how people are so greedy for money that they will sell their souls to the devil and go to any length to obtain it. They jacked up my price and lied about extras that were added to the car, such as upgrades, and charged me for the upgrades that I had never requested and that they did not install. God help these deceitful thieves. Last year, I called the owner, Mark Hadfield, and told him that I would never bring my car to his dealership for free, not even for an oil change. So, Mark explained that in order to acquire my trust and business, he would send me a little check ranging from $1,000 to $1,500. Important: The salesperson (who claimed to be a Christian) told so many lies about all of the functionalities of the 2024 Blazer and the sales manager at the time are no longer...
